I understand why you posted this Tricia. And, I understand that you want to know who this is. No disrespect in wanting to know who...

However, in retrospect, (looking at this a second time) they didn't go to Boulder, and spoil anything for you did they? And in reality, while you were on the mission, it's kinda ludicrous to think that you would have ended up in the sack with someone while you were there, right? It's sort of, an after the fact, threat....

It just sounds like to me, the individual is more likely to intimidate using words, and try to cause you emotional distress in that way, than actual action...

Anyway, I get the same crap Tricia does but because I'm in a popular band. Tricia is a powerful woman, and very well known ...some people like to get to us, and unfortunately we sometimes do let them. But while these people hide behind their computers and telephones and other forms of communication, they are attacking us, we're left wondering who it is and why someone would do such a thing and it's not right and not fair. WE become a victim of sorts. And I think when people do these things to us, we deserve to know who they are. They deserve to be exposed.

I used to get messages on my band's voicemail calling me names, saying I suck, threatening me, etc... I would've NEVER thought this person was who it turned out to be .... but once my ex-boyfriend was murdered in a robbery, the calls to my voicemail stopped. The police had suspected it was him but he and I were still friends and wrote music together ... I really loved that guy. He and one of his band members were insanely jealous of our band, and for what reason I will never know, since he was more talented than anyone in our band.... when he died, I arranged for media coverage and stories written about his musical career and how influential he was in our town .... then when the calls stopped coming after having been almost daily and sometimes 10 times a day for several years, it dawned on me that our hunch was right. And how very sad it was. After all that I did to honor his memory after he died, I was left angry, hurt and confused. I thought we were friends. I still love the guy, but if he were here I would want to know why.

Well same thing with this person emailing Tricia ... it's the principle of it all. We're made to be the victims while these cowards and bullies attack us.
I would want to know who it was, and I would want other people to know who it was too, just so they can be ashamed of their behavior and realize how immature and unncessary it is.

I also understand why people would say, don't let it get to you, you're just feeding the fire ... but it gets their goat more when you stand up for yourself and hence, you do win in the end. I know it's not about "winning" or getting even, but it IS for justice ... our rights as humans to not be stalked, mistreated, demeaned, threatened, scared, etc.

It's just my opinion on the matter. I could see how others might think, though, to let it rest and not put forth any energy in it.
It's easy to say that, though, when you're not the one who's getting the crap shellacked on you!

Ancient Jeremiah mentions there's a conspiracy in Zion, setting traps for humans, meaning just for a time, you can't trust anyone. Nobody realizes how serious some treacherous brothers are in chapter 12, actually destroying a nation, its excellence, its stars?

I blinked and missed someone's attacks on Maxi, which caused her to finally leave, and also the one or ones on River. I don't even know who it was in either case. Not someone with a four-letter hat, right? I give up, can't guess who.

There were several posters who were rude to Maxi. It was all part of the Annual Christmas Meltdown. But my impression is whatever made her decide to leave was something going on behind the scenes.

Sheesh Eyespy how awful!!!! This person must of had a love/hate type relationship with you. I'm glad your phone calls stopped, and I hope you get some answers one day.

As for me...I'm a nobody and I like it that way! Only my family, friends and co workers know who I am and that is all I care about. I do not like to be up in front of a crowd, I hate it when I have to give a speech or report at work and avoid them when I can.

Eagle I love classical music...it helps me concentrate or relax. I am very impressed with your talent. 4 years of band/orchestra and I'm still tonedeaf. I'll never be able to play an instrument, but I have developed a lifelong fondness for the classics.

A question Eagle: In your opinion, doesn't Vivaldi have a couple of the Four Seasons mixed up? Winter also sounds like Spring storms to me.

Yes, we do sometimes let the misfits get to us partly because we may be partly shy. I understand completely about not wanting to be in front of a crowd, and preferring to play with a group instead of solo, UNLESS some bully is causing conspiracies to say you can't do a solo concerto which would be worth enough to help you buy a needed new car and help make a living, and about which you're already very conflicted. Married a nonmusician knowing he'd make a better living than I, and even if you're somewhat shy, it's stressful enough having others hijack your life, to give you impossible-to-control diabetes. The Destroyers tell that we need humbling, and an excessive number of outsiders are brought in to do a concerto in our place, like getting bumped by an airline. One, nonunion, got paid $3000 I think out of a Union fund I'd contributed to. I'll always have posttraumatic stress syndrome, or maybe it's disorder, probably. So I'm extra sensitive about Martha S. having worked so hard and their using the word humble about her, discussing her private life as if she has no right to any privacy once she has a company. Where do we draw the line? Most pianists are not considered public property. I probably would be if I came out of my shell due to money desperation.

I bet you're both very good in music, and I'm so glad to find people who enjoy it, though you didn't specify what instrument was played for 4 yrs. and I'm always curious about fellow musicians. Have found a very cozy small Lutheran church where just three guitarists play softly and one doubles on flute, playing obligato's she invents. I still get Presbyterian organist offers but only a concerto offer would move me now, because of the rude intrusion about it, started by people jealous of my husband, who I bet made his youth miserable. Church people used to hint about "Joseph's brothers" all the time, and I have this hobby of researching obscure prophecy, found Jeremiah discusses some treacherous brothers destroying a nation (it's excellence?) by nobody taking it to heart, chapter 12. He, the weeping prophet, mentions a conspiracy in Zion, religion, and some husband thinking their long "seige", title of a movie about CIA, is because of his beloved. He's told to believe them not, (they hope to inherit what she's helped him earn?) but probably is falling for their flattery that only men matter, everything's the man's, etc. I should call this tale "copyrighted fiction", borrowing an expression from Lance. They will be caught, Daniel 7:26 or thereabouts.
