i am also dying to know... has there really been a sharp increase in the number of child predators/kidnappings/sex offenses/rapes/murders in the past couple generations (in ratio to the popluation), or is there just more because there's more people? i know the media covers it more now, but isn't it true that there's just a lot more to cover?

i suppose technology has everything to do with it also, making instant connections with strangers (over a larger distance) possible.

i just wonder if there's something else in our society that's causing an increase.... boredom, lack of purpose, detatchment/disconnection with community, increase in sexual images through advertising & entertainment, or....?? any other guesses, from a socio-psyhological, genetic, or environmental standpoint?
have such a large proportion of men always been attracted to children, or is it a newer thing? and in the old days, didn't mobs just kill anyone who raped or hurt a child? i suppose men in high positions engaged in such behavior in the past too, so did people go to great lengths to protect them and deny any wrongdoing by them, just like today?

did men have more self-control, or a stronger sense of right & wrong in the past (unless they were truly psychotic), or where things just as bad as they now?

i'm just trying to wrap my brain around the whole thing, and having a hard time.... i wonder if there's a book out there called "the history of pedophilism"... that would be an interesting read.

The sexual abuse of children has been around forever, and is fairly widespread. the difference is that we've only started to become ashamed of it & aware of the psychological damage it does in the last 50 years.
This website discusses the pervasive problem of child sexual abuse in recent history, and its role in the birth of modern psychiatry. Pretty grim reading.

The Naked Special Guy was revealed by the announcer to be a 44 year old unemployed man (posing as 29) called either John Kinneally, Keneally, or Cannelli--just going by his pronounciation. He's a out-and-out sociopath, as you can tell by his flat affect and facial expressions when confronted both times--especially in front of the McDonalds.

I recorded it last night, and watched it this evening.    is all I can think right now!!!

Un - freaking - believable!!!! The one who disturbed me the most (they all did, no doubt) was the ER doctor... he was the one in the t-shirt & sweatpants... extremely creepy. The way he was snacking on chips or pretzels or whatever that was, such a nonchalant attitude about what he had just been caught doing. Him.. and the military guy who wanted to bring a dog into his sexual activities w/ the child. :furious: :furious: :furious:

I just couldn't believe the nerve of all of them. :behindbar

The ER doctor--a pediatric ER doctor, btw--obvivously is an out-and-out boylover. You can tell by the careful use of language & how he tries to manipulate the situation. Right out of the NAMBLA handbook. I hope he's been let go by whatever hospital he works for following this--but these pervs always manage to get rehired elsewhere.

It looks like the Perverted Justice website might be hacked--I've been having a lot of trouble getting registering and posting ont their forums, and the associated site, corrupted-justice. net (NOT .com, which is operated by pro-pedos) has clearly been hacked. I guess some people out there just can't handle the truth.
