I don't get MP as a suspect. MP and Shannan chose to work together. It was not a traditional pimp/prostitute situation. He was her driver. They were at least somewhat friendly. He doesn't have a history of violence. He returned to OB at least once to look for her when he really didn't need to. If he did kill her, leaving the body in OB would be, as others have pointed out, the worst possible idea when he had a truck and could take the body anywhere.

He didn't seem angry that she didn't have money from Brewer and since he had so much interaction with Brewer, he could have just asked for the money himself. Some of the point of having a driver (I would think) is to ensure that the escort gets paid. He didn't need to kill Shannan when it would be so much easier to just not work with her again in the future.

"He doesn't have a history of violence" Are you sure, how do you know. AD his friend has a history of violence.

Diaz was a driver for the agency, that's how he met SG. I think the "middle man" was the agency. Pak could have been a driver, too... I don't know.

this report is where that "rumor" (?) stems from.

The man who claims to be "that drifter" denies being the the evening SG was there.

I still haven't read the whole book, but he says the answer is in the book.

For those who believe MP and SG were 'friends' and MP had genuine concern for SG it is important to examine the relationship of MP and SG in the context of their occupations.

SG sold her body to men in exchange for money and drugs. MP got paid a percentage of what SG made. This was the same relationship MP had with every other woman he drove who was an escort.

AD was alleged SG's boyfriend and I believe they shared the same accomodation. AD broke SG's jaw once when she made him angry.

Neither of these men had legitmate jobs or sources of income. They treated women as chattels. If you choose to believe men involved in the sex trade are virtuous and quality individuals capable of having healthy relationships with women, then I believe you are deluded.

There are likely exceptions, but I do not think MP was one of the good guys.

As long as you view MP acting altruistically and in the best interests of SG, none of his actions make sense. If you look at his behavior in the context of his best interests then it comes together.

Simply put if MP was interested in SG's or any woman's welfare he would not be a driver.

I have never heard that SG was running around OB 25 minutes after her call. The last I heard was her mother's account saying the 911 call recorded her screaming "Mike" while being pulled into a truck. This was a comment her mother made on her FB page. We only have MP's word that he did not know OB. I don't believe anything this convicted sex trafficker says. You are ASSUMING his accounts are true. We do not know exactly when GC was at the gate, so how can you say for sure he could not have missed MP leaving. Also I believe there is another way out.
