The hypothesis that she is a foreigner is worth considering, though. Looking at her post mortem pic I started to think she might be Bulgarian. In the nineties there were tons of female Bulgarian illegal imigrants, working in sex trade in Poland. The lack of dental care might support that hypothesis. I'd also consider her being from Russia, Ukraine, or another part of the former Soviet Union.

Good call. Some of the foreign prostitutes worked at the roadside, along the major routes. Marki lies on the National Road 8, a busy road going toward borders with Belarus and Lithuania. "TIR girls", as they are called in Poland, usually wait for "customers" in wooded areas at the roadside. Looking at Google Maps, there are woods near Marki and along The Eight, and it could be even more of them in the nineties. However, if Anka's article is to be believed, our UID was found in a forest to the west of Marki, not that close to the Eight.
It seems quite possible, that UID was a foreign prostitute and illegal migrant. Poor dental health suggests she came from poor background. I think it all makes the case even more difficult.

Adding the tattoo so it's easily seen.

Looking at her postmortem photo, I wonder if perhaps she's Romani. Their dispersion might also explain why she has not been missed.
I actually wondered this also. I have a great grandmother that has this same look. As soon as I saw the postmortem photo, I immediately thought "gypsy" which is what my great grandmother's surname meant.

The blue color tattoo also makes me wonder if she was in the jail/prison system at some point. Perhaps done by a pimp or an inexpensive tattoo at the time.

I took her photo and cleaned it up a bit with Paint. I am not very good at it but it is a bit cleaner and I cropped out the wounds. Her fingernails appear to be painted red and there is a mark on her hand that could be a defensive wound. This was an angry, personal murder, someone close to her did this. JMO

I went the UK route considering the origin of the band. Any potential in these 2 ladies?
