Police at anthony home again 9-10-08

i wish all the protesters and media would go home - from sitting in front of their house. this is not going to accomplish anything except arguements and gossip. while i am hooked on them finding caylee; so many are focused on all the crap.

I believe the protesters are doing what they intend to do and that is put more and more pressure on the Anthonys. Those people are strung tighter than a rubber band and it is not going to take much for one of them to snap.

I just hope none of the protesters get hurt when it happens.

I see where you were going --- in the wrong direction. That is 'misleading' at best, just in case no one else has challenged the info above yet.

One can call Cindy a disgusting pig and there is no way Cindy could prove defamation. First of all, she is clearly not literally a pig, so any court would accept that as an opinion of her character. Secondly, she has made herself a public figure, which makes it almost impossible to prove defamation. One has to show the libelous statement was malicious and the offender knew the information was false. She would also have to show actual damages. She has not been damaged. She has no losses, unless these types of statements have caused her donations to slow down. Oh, wouldn't that be a shame. One of them may have to get a job.

I could go on but I think you see where I'm going here. OPINION is protected speech and regardless of the opinion, how ill informed or derogatory, it is protected. So stop please stop trying to discourage the free flow of information and opinion on this forum.

haha. you go girl (oops, or Boy)

Seriously? You all think he went too far dumping out the dogwater??? The woman with the sign had more. Give me a break, it's insane to think the dog is going to suffer. I dont think Lee went too far, George goes too far. Get Lee on camera yelling in their faces and throwing stuff then I will see things your way.

He picked the quietest and least intimidating protestor to pick on...

just an observation...

Ditto, observed the same thing. As a child of the 60s protesting was something we did. She reminded me of our old protests, PEACE.

What are people doing this family??? I just watched the video of Lee. This has become such a circus and it's completely disgusting.

no kidding

Out of all the people that George and Lee have gotten aggressive with, so far they have chose a very small guy, an elderly lady, a woman...and a really beautiful dog.

I suspect that one day very soon, they will meet their match and step on some big toes.

I wonder, if the owner of that sign were a 25 yr old man, who was as big, or bigger then Lee. Would he have reacted the same way?

Probably not. It's ridiculous how he actually took the time to crush the sign and put it in the trash, like he was trying to prove a point. Simply moving the sign would have sufficed, considering the other man replaced it within a matter of seconds. I bet he would have shoved her off the grass if there weren't cameras watching.

What's probably going to happen now.....once that video with Lee (being very foolish imo) gets widely circulated.....it's going to infuriate even MORE people and attract even MORE protestors.

Sorry, LostGrl, I'm not buying it! :snooty:If I were the Anthony's no amount of protesters outside my house would keep me from looking for my child/grandchild. It didn't stop Beth Holloway, Sharon Rocha, Marc Klass or others from looking for their children- but then again, these families were innocent and volunteered to assist LE in any way they could, not stonewalling!

As I said before, these are clearly a disfunctual group they do things a bit differently obviously. They throw themselves at the media, the protesters to aviod the other unpretty stuff.

AFter watching lee tear up her sign. I wonder how he would feel if she had picked up the yellow tape and signs in the public area, tore them up and trashed them??? Sadly, Lee doesn't realize it's the same. It wouldn't be right. In fact, taking it from her was worse. It was terrorizing.

She at least was staying with her signs. And her sign will go with her. They are leaving their trash there all the time making the area look trashing. The point of HOA is to keep your neighbors from making their lawn trashy.

My thoughts EXACTLY. The Anthonys are just adding fuel to this fire.

Personally, I think Lee showed tremendous restraint considering the hell he's been through. The bottom line is this....Casey is the one everyone should be angry with. I believe her parents and Lee have been pushed far enough. From what I see, they are not guilty of harming or disappearing Caylee. They can't MAKE Casey talk. And I don't see what good it would do for the family to denounce her....that won't make her talk either. I beleive they're not searching for 2 reasons....1. they don't believe Caylee is dead, and 2. if they did attend a search...how far would they get before the media pounced on them, or before an angry mob attacked them. LE doesn't want them anywhere near possible evidence or possible crime scenes. So, Cindy, George and Lee have no choice but to sit back and take everything that everyone is dishing out and not because of anything of their own doing. Protesters and the media are provoking the family when they should be provoking Casey, if they could get anywhere near her. I understand everyone's anger and rage, but I think people should use that energy for something more constructive. The emotions in this case are getting nothing done other than inciting more emotions. It is not finding Caylee and it is not making Casey talk. I don't think Cindy, George or Lee have a clue where Caylee is, or what Casey may have done with her. I'm sure Casey is telling them one thing and telling Baez another...and Baez can't break the client privilege. I could go on forever.... I just don't understand how some cannot see the bind that the family is in...and that no matter what choices they make...someone somewhere will criticize. I feel for them because I believe that no matter what they do or say....people will continue to blame them, accuse them, and hate them....and there is little they can do at this moment to defend themselves. I really wish people would just back off of them and focus on finding Caylee first and foremost, then let them get their claws in Casey later.

Yeah, I do! He had no business interfering with her personal property and the poor dog with the heavy fur coat does need its water on a hot day. I'd turn him in for animal cruelty if it were up to me! :furious:Why take it out on an innocent dog? That's going beyond destroying her sign, which he had no right to do either.

So come on folks, someone needs to start listening to my daughter and if it is not the local authorities, will the FBI please get involved in this case and come and interview my daughter like she has been requesting."
The family said the getting Casey out of jail is not a priority since jail may be the safest place for her.

My observation is the same.............they tend to "pick on" ones smaller and older than them.

If that were my dog there, there would have been a conflict because when he grabbed that sign, my German Shepherd would have thought him a danger and grabbed him. He had NO idea what that dog would do, and it seemed to me as if he was almost trying to provoke the dog.

Those people are certifiably insane and they are the PROVOKERS each time in my opinion.

You don't need to yell to go too far. She had the legal right to be there. The cops even told them that. He got mad he didn't get his way and acted like a first class jerk when he took her stuff and her dog's bowl.

The ironic part is that his parent's lawyer is trying to undo the damage they have caused and he just went and made things even worse.

That family has no sense of right and wrong and lash out against anyone who calls them out on their BS.

Lee broke the law when he laid his hand on property that does not belong to him, whether it was a dog bowl or a diamond necklace. Ain't his to dispose of.

The fact that he lost it without once displaying a scintilla of emotion (although he must have been raging with anger inside) is pretty darn creepy. The woman, on the other hand, reacted politely to this tool and his entitlement issues. I hope she has him arrested. It's not as if he has a defense - all a judge would have to do is look at the tape.

no kidding

Seriously. I'm not saying I like the Anthonys nor do I agree with the way they behave at times. Yes, I wonder why they aren't looking for Caylee. But jeez people, look at what they are having to deal with!! I can't even begin to imagine the incredible stress they're under. People are using this case to get themselves on camera, to infiltrate themselves into the case somehow, IMO. No, not everyone. Not even most of them. But some of them are. Protesting?? Seriously?? Why? What is that going to accomplish? Is that going to make Cindy suddenly realize "Oh yes!!! I see it now!! Casey killed Caylee! Whatever was I thinking?? I shall get out and look for her now! Thanks lady with your giant dog in my yard! You turned my whole outlook around!"

I feel bad for Lee. I'm surprised he stayed as calm as he did. That protestor woman needs to get a life. Why isn't she out looking for Caylee if she cares that much?

Sorry, I realize my opinion isn't popular but I don't care. This has become sickening and it keeps me from even wanting to follow the case anymore. But I care about Caylee, so I will.
