Police at anthony home again 9-10-08

In the beginning of the tape he simply asked her to move to the sidewalk right next to where she already was!!!

He was being extremely polite, wasnt telling her to leave or being agressive. She could have simply moved over two feet and still got her point across without provoking an already tense situation. I guess she got her 15 minutes as well. :waitasec:

Whether or not he should have taken her sign is a different matter.

Let the bashing commence. But please use spell check.

LOL, no need to get angry. I am voicing my opinion as well, like it, love it, hate it? It doesn't make a difference to me. What I am saying is I can comprehend his stress, you have lights on the house all night long, your parents are worn out He77 out. Casey isn't helping anything, people speculate he is Caylee's dad. This whole thing is out of control. The one thing that remains the same is there is a missing child, why not go help out the search in stead of sitting on the grass in front of a home Casey isn't at right now, because she is at the LAWYERS office?

1) You don't know any of the protesters aren't searchers 2) Some protesters may not be physically able to search or have the time 3) Is the Anthony family going out and searching for Caylee? They're not even doing that on their home computers, they're busy reading here and printing it out and playing computer games 4) I fully agree with the protesters right to protest- if I lived in Florida, I'd probably join them!

P.S. I don't view spending 30 hours/week out of the house at your lawyer's office as home confinement. He's babysitting her so she can have her freedom at his office.

I agree. If she saw Lee coming for her in an aggressive manner it is assault. If he grabbed her sign it is a battery. [Edit, nevermind, I see now that she was not holding the sign.] If he broke it in half and tossed the dog bowl in the trash he's destroying her property. While this stuff is minimal, maybe someone needs to PROVE to the A's that they are not above the law! I mean, the LE said the woman was in the public right-of-way!

It just doesn't sink in with these people. Aren't there two protesters pressing charges against George? Lee shouldn't even be putting himself in the position of a confrontation.

Welp! I have an idea how they stay together in that house.

The fact that he lost it without once displaying a scintilla of emotion (although he must have been raging with anger inside) is pretty darn creepy.

I noticed that too and you're right....it is creepy and very disturbing.

OMG!

I am sorry if I offend anyone, but I have laughed my butt off. That sign has kicked Lee's a$$. Every time he tried to break it, it would just bounce back. I was cheering for the sign.

Then at the end of the video that man brought it back and I started clapping too!

That lady and her dog were doing what they have asked, a quiet protest.

By the way my HOA has no authority concerning the laws of the /easement/city. Lee was talking like the HOA owned it. He just wanted her on the sidewalk so he could then have her ticketed for blocking the right of way.

I am still giggling, but OMG it is sad.......so sad. Sorry if I offended anyone, it has struck me as funny.:)

OMG ~ :floorlaugh:

The Anthonys have a lot of misdirected rage, IMO. Which is understandable I suppose, however I in no way agree with their actions.

And you'd think their PR people would give them some friendly advice?!
Maybe they should direct their attention on finding a new location to hole up in or better yet, fly to PR to search for their Grandchild....Um Beth Twitty didnt sit @ home battling protestors with Hammers & crime scene tape!

I think her point was, she doesn't have to move. She is not on his property. So whether he asked nicely and politely really doesn't matter. He has no right to ask or tell her to move to the sidewalk.

I believe it is Casey everyone is angry with. She lives at the home where people are protesting. Whether they like it or not, the Anthonys knew about the protestors when they decided to allow Casey to come back to the home.

Any anger directed towards the family, I believe they brought on themselves.

Where else could Casey go? I'm sure lots of people would like to see Casey dead, but, IMO, that is the worst thing that could happen for Caylee (dead or alive). Letting her sit in jail wasn't getting her to talk, if anything, it hindered any conversation with her lawyer and her family. I think almost everyone agrees Casey knows the truth.....if she doesn't talk or can't talk freely....Caylee will never be found. Letting her out of jail, giving her some freedom to slip up has a better shot at getting info from her than locking her in a cell. IMO. Now, if she was a threat to others, herself, or a flight risk, then yes...the best place for her is in jail.

Then who is responsible for putting new sod on that portion of "public land" ? The county or the HOA ?

I dont know. I cant get on the Lee bashing for that incident. He may have destroyed her sign and may have dumped out the dog water. But seriously, public or private property, they are sitting on the patch of grass that we all homeowners tend to. Right in front of the home. I get it, I really do, they want Casey and family to get the message. But even if he seemed like a jerk, he did not explode, he did not yell, he was very upright and forthcoming. So what if he folded the sign?? The man trying to speak with Lee couldn't even get his comments straight. People are there to be a**holes, I think that whole neighborhood needs a break. The protesters are out of hand, this whole situation is out of hand. It's disgusting.
I agree RebeccaAdrianne! Furthermore, I do not believe that GA acted violently. He was firm... I saw the crazy lady (imo) hit him. They are there to be a part of the whole chaos! What really gets me is the fact that I have seen a lot of children there and teenagers! What are they teaching their children??? Lunatics, imo.

I don't think threatening people with hammers and trespassing signs and destroying signs you don't like, pushing people, and taking their personal property is sitting back and taking it!:eek::eek:

IMO, that's sitting back and taking it...cause if I were in their shoes....you'd see a crazy woman going apesh*t on the media and the protesters!

Personally, I think Lee showed tremendous restraint considering the hell he's been through. The bottom line is this....Casey is the one everyone should be angry with. I believe her parents and Lee have been pushed far enough. From what I see, they are not guilty of harming or disappearing Caylee. They can't MAKE Casey talk. And I don't see what good it would do for the family to denounce her....that won't make her talk either. I beleive they're not searching for 2 reasons....1. they don't believe Caylee is dead, and 2. if they did attend a search...how far would they get before the media pounced on them, or before an angry mob attacked them. LE doesn't want them anywhere near possible evidence or possible crime scenes. So, Cindy, George and Lee have no choice but to sit back and take everything that everyone is dishing out and not because of anything of their own doing. Protesters and the media are provoking the family when they should be provoking Casey, if they could get anywhere near her. I understand everyone's anger and rage, but I think people should use that energy for something more constructive. The emotions in this case are getting nothing done other than inciting more emotions. It is not finding Caylee and it is not making Casey talk. I don't think Cindy, George or Lee have a clue where Caylee is, or what Casey may have done with her. I'm sure Casey is telling them one thing and telling Baez another...and Baez can't break the client privilege. I could go on forever.... I just don't understand how some cannot see the bind that the family is in...and that no matter what choices they make...someone somewhere will criticize. I feel for them because I believe that no matter what they do or say....people will continue to blame them, accuse them, and hate them....and there is little they can do at this moment to defend themselves. I really wish people would just back off of them and focus on finding Caylee first and foremost, then let them get their claws in Casey later.

I don't think that anyone would fault them for actually looking for Caylee which they aren't doing. They have no time, what with book deals and tv interviews and riding around in limos. Also, remember that The Anthonys help provoke the protesters. Telling people to get off the asses and look for Caylee, or assuming people are stupid with the dead body/pizza smell. Or talking about TM when he is trying to help. I don't have any sympathy for them at all. And I always thought that LA was an 🤬🤬🤬 ever since I can remember him doing an interview outside his house and laughing while talking to reporters.

I wouldn't go out there and protest, but the people who are out there have every right to do so, as long as they are peaceful. And that lady today was nothing but peaceful.

If they don't want to see the protesting people...they should put up their own signs. Maybe it would keep them busy creating different story boards out of Casey's words or something. (Easy instructions: Uh huh. Uh huh. Uh huh. uh huh. Repeat on large signs.)
