Police say parents are not answering vital questions #3

Why is eveybody acting like Tim Miller has the ONLY search group available? There have been at least 2 different SAR groups already here searching that are just, if not even more, capable of doing anything that his group can do. I have shared the names of these groups with Oriah and Sarx when they were here and have been assured that they are VERY capable.

Sorry, he's just got the famous one. When I think of a search group, I think of TES.

I only know this... Lisa is out there. She has to be found, and if the parents aren't going to do it, and if police aren't going to do it, then someone else has to do it, or NOTHING will be done, and this will be a cold case, and no one will pay for it.

Of course, it stands to reason, that at some time you could get it wrong..but most of the time it turns out exactly as you called it. That guy in detroit with the two yr old and the highjacking, failed the poly on the same questions that db did. Everyone thinks he's guilty. He did not get a pass, yet many are seeing db as not harming her daughter....same questions failed on poly.

Neither story believable but the white female gets a pass...

I have heard folks say that some areas haven't been searched.

I was reading about how the KCFD was rappeling to look at some areas the afternoon of Oct. 4.

What areas haven't been searched that locals or others think should be searched and have been overlooked by KCPD, FBI, KCFD, MO National Guard and private searches?

If I can link the Examiner, good info is there. It also said he did a Today Show Interview. I wasn't aware of that.

He was asked questions that were reported by them but you did not actually see him answering them himself.

I am saying that professional SAR should not (and usually does not) seek out cases. They've got enough going on without soliciting MP cases. They are typically contacted by family and/or LE- hopefully both.

Also, we do not know that this is the case. There are many situations where professional SAR is called in and the media does not, or cannot, report.

I understand your point, and don't necessarily disagree. But if the Irwins/Bradleys or LE did not request outside SAR assistance, there are many variables to be considered.

This deserves more than a simple thank you.

We do not know what resources they are using but they sure have pulled out many stops. Unless someone has a link that says other resources have not been utilized once again we stray into very dangerous waters.

Search groups will not come with the blessing of LE. IF LE has told them their help is not wanted/needed they wont come. We don't know if this part of the equation has happened or not. And yes, there have been documented cases where LE as turned down their help even when requested by others.

Do believe that any outside help is NOT wanted. LE, National Guard Military Police, FBI, SS have all been working on it and with that lineup it could possibly be more than a missing baby case and it will be concluded when all facets of the investigation are closed.

IDM has stated that there were 2 SAR groups brought in. For all we know they are still involved.

Why would you need a 3rd?

ETA There are too many missing children and these resources need to be used wisely so that other families can utilize them.

The other issue is that this is a baby that could not leave on her own she simply did not wander away. Thus she had to be removed from the house and probably the area.

My question is where does one search? For all we know she could of been put into a car. I know we have witnesses that have seen someone carrying a child in diapers what we don't know is was it to meet up with someone that did have a vehicle. She could be close or miles away.

Maybe I am looking at the wrong thread, but so far no one has said he is guilty.

I tend to disagree. The high profile cases are a lot of times involving white kids. I think that is one one of the reasons that a case near me hear in New Braunfels dropped off the radar so quick. The family isn't white.

In that case, the baby disappeared from their home and they would love to have kept the story in the news.

That is not what I am stating at all. I am very aware of many children that simply do not get the media attention.

I do not believe this case is getting the media attention it is because of the fact she is white. There is a list of characters involved that draw viewers and readers to this case. Is it fair? No it is not.

I do not believe the race card is playing a role in this I believe the twists, turns, amd hair pin curves are.

I also think that the media would completely drop the case after Deborah's statement that she was drinking that night, instead of using it as a sensational development, if she had been black.

Probably agree. I think this baby's cuteness has something to do with how popular the case is. I

There was a list of characters in the example I brought up as well. I honestly don't think that in some of these high profile cases, the results would be the same if those involved were minorities. I also don't believe there would be so many "defenders of the parents" if the skin color were changed.

Casey Anthony had a wealthy benefactor, and lots of defenders. If you changed her appearance, I don't think she would have received the benefit of the doubt. I think a lot of this is subconscious, and I don't think it's because inherently racist. Appearances do affect how we perceive people IMO.

This is a serious question... If people honestly believe this to be true, then why are they here on this case? The case I referenced above is a black family, and painfully few people have posted there - even though the circumstances are equally intriguing as in this case.

The media is going to give attention to cases people are interested in, and they don't care about color. They only care about ratings. So if people only click on stories about Caylee, Haileigh, Madeline and Baby Lisa, the media is going to follow those stories.

If we want to draw attention to poor minority children, we have to be willing to read, discuss and demand information on their cases. JMO

Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, told ABC News that before Lisa's disappearance, she would always suspect the parents in missing-baby cases.
