Here is one of my issues; everyone needs it to be Terri; the school district does, the Chamber of Commerce does, LE does (now) and the parents do. Because it is far far worse if it is not Terri. Much more convenient if it is.

OK, maybe the reason that nobody saw Terri leave with Kyron is because she 'hid' him in Kiara's stroller...maybe as a game for him on the way to the 'Dr?' And isn't there arsenic in some gardening supplies....or is it pesticides?? THAT explains a little confusion & POSSIBLE method of 'disposing' of Kyron. Also, if these bat phones were purchased on purpose then the real phone was driven around as a distraction to LE. I believe that she took that picture as part of her later 'alibi.' I saw her Facebook wall before she took it down & was really surprised that her profile picture was still her DD while he SS went missing...meanwhile, many of her Facebook friends had changed theirs to Kyron's. This appears to be a very well thought out plan to make Kyron disappear....there is NO perfect plan.

Since they already had secret 'bat phones' then the White Truck is obviously a Red Herring. She knew that LE would be tracking it's movements that day hence the crazy driving up & down back streets & being seen by others in the neighborhood & on the highway. They are looking for the OTHER car that may have been seen NEAR this truck....

I haven't read the whole thread - pls forgive if already asked.
Does anyone know when the science exhibits were due @ the school? Was it the day b4 or did most of the kids bring their experiments the morning of the science fair? I have heard TH wanted the truck to take home the exhibit - but when was it transported to the school? I am wondering if someone could have lured Kyron outside to their car with a "can you help me carry my kid's exhibit into the building" sort of ruse. If the exhibits were due to be judged/graded prior to the science fair that morning then this theory would not hold water.

Kaine says she brought the science project on Thursday.

Also, it has never been confirmed that the phones were bought on or about June 4th. What we heard from mainstream media is that they were bought after Kaine moved out.

I think its starting to become obvious that these two, Terri and Dede met at the school, and one followed after the other, in case the cops showed up or someone got pulled over, it was all a ruse.

This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I don't know where to put it and I want to throw it "out there".

I was in Portland yesterday and as I was driving along Barnes Rd, I was surprised to realize it intersected with Skyline Dr. At that intersection is a huge cemetery and a horrible thought occurred to me as I passed by: Could someone take a small body to a freshly-dug grave, dig up some of the dirt & then bury the body on top of the coffin that was recently placed there? No one would be searching for a body in a cemetery and no one would think twice about a freshly-dug grave in that location.

I wonder if LE has thought to walk some cadaver dogs through the cemetery on Skyline. Maybe this is a crazy thought, but like I said, I wanted to toss it "out there".

Here's the link for when the phones were purchased:

The phones were purchased after Kyron's father, Kaine Horman, moved out of the family's home.

If this was a planned event and Terri did do something with Kyron, how could she have been so LUCKY to have had everything fall into place so perfectly?

The groundskeeper at the school doesn't see her, her truck or anything (assuming she was parked in front of the school and/or on the side road).

No one sees Kyron or her leave the school. (well, so far we don't now for sure if anyone saw her leave)

She runs into someone she knows at the Fred Meyers who can prove she was there.

No one sees DDS coming or going.

However, she is still left with that thorny "trying to get <Baby K> to sleep in the truck for a few minutes". An hour and a half is no "few minutes".

I don't know - maybe because the devil takes care of his own? On a more serious note, I don't believe we know for certain whether everything did in fact fall into place perfectly for TH. IMO, there is prolly a lot we just don't know and that LE has not told us. I think they are holding quite a bit close to the vest.

What if we are looking at this all wrong? What if Terri's actions caused her not to be the perp, but the recipient of someone's revenge plot? Her not so recent past has cast a light that she could be a rather impulsive person, not always participating in reality or the cause and effect of it all. Personally, I believe she had a 'bat phone' wayyyyy before any of this started. Her disdain towards her life and her enjoyment of er, odd activities, would dictate she needed to keep much of her life hidden.

Perhaps the LS was a darker soul than she anticipated? Perhaps she brought the truck to school to not be noticed by the likes of him or his friends. Maybe DD was brought not to help Terri but to help guard the baby from some very real threats.

All seemed to go well, for a while. DD goes to the farm, Terri was out running errands and she received a phone call. Someone has Kyron. Terri goes into her panic mode, retrieves DD, they start driving everywhere she can think of to find Kyron, thus making her ping from towers that clash with her newly needed alibi.

She's detached enough from reality to calm herself into believing she had nothing to do with his disappearance but cannot pass a LD test because she is well aware her actions set this horror into motions. (and in reality, quite responsible for what happened, though not directly)

Do I beieve anything I just wrote...no clue, but they seem to be a different set of dots...

These are more or less the dots that I can see. I but I think the abductor was the person in the truck with her that morning, and that he had his own vehicle parked there as well. He was seen in her truck b/c he was there speaking with her. I don't think she had necessarily expected him to be there that morning, perhaps it was a face to face conversation in the midst of an ongoing argument that had been via electronic means. I agree there was a "batphone" already in her possession. I think he was frustrated with her and her games, he was waiting for her to show up and then got in the truck to argue with her. At some point she got out to take the kids into the school.

I think she did leave Kyron as she said. I think she did go shopping. Everything was like a normal day except she had a cranky baby and, at some point, probably not long after her last store visit, she received a message or phone call telling her that this individual had Kyron. I am wondering even if she might have received this communication while waiting at Starbucks. If, as I suspect, that person was in the school at the same time that she left and that he took Kyron immediately there after, by that time he was an hour or more away.

But here's where I can't explain what she did and why.... why not call 9-1-1? Why did she instead call Dede? The only answer I can come up with is that she didn't think he was really all that dangerous.. she thought he had Kyron someplace locally... not that it was a joke, that's not what I mean.. but that he was trying to scare her and that she could possibly find him, get Kyron back and somehow conceal it all so that her "perfect" life wouldn't fall to pieces. Another idea I have is that the abductor knew about the MFH plot (because perhaps he was an associate of the MFH LS? I think he probably was somehow connected to Dede so maybe they had some sort of landscaping/gardening etc connection?) and threated to tell the police that she hired him to do it. Just a thought... Anyway, I think they couldn't find him or contact him, and while they were trying they dropped baby K off at the gym. I think this was something she had likely done before.. checked the baby in to the gym and then slipped out again. So eventually she went back home... to pray that somehow he ended up returning Kyron to the school or to her by the end of the day. But first, Dede took her phone to destroy any connection between the abductor and TH. If her relationship with the abductor was super secret and assuming the phone was destroyed, there would be no easy way to connect her to him so it was a "you didn't do it, you know nothing" policy that she was able to maintain.. until the LD test. Then,... not so much.

I have a heard time figuring out why, though, she has remained quiet if this series of connect-the-dots is reality.... At some point she would have decided to come clean, right? Its the big sticking point for me.. .but I have a hard time understanding why she has been so silent under any circumstance... about as hard a time I have believing that she plotted it all, settled on THIS particular plan, got people to agree to help her, and then carried it all out to apparent perfection, especially given the tight time frame.

Exactly.

Problem is, those dots aren't connecting so well anymore.

This is not a general discussion thread it is a theory thread! Get back to theory!

I would like to add another option to the poll:

Terri is responsible for Kyron's disappearance, she planned it, and DeDe was brought in after the fact as an accomplice.

Adding a theory;

TH is NOT responsible for what has happened to Kyron but is responsible for covering up what happened to him. She is doing this to protect someone she loves very much.

snip/
Because it is far far worse if it is not Terri. Much more convenient if it is.

I disagree. I honestly think it is better for Kyron if it was not Terri. If it was not Terri, I feel there is hope that Kyron is still alive. If it was Terri, my outlook for Kyron's safety is much more bleak.

I think that LE suspected Terry very early on, from her alibi.Terry told LE she went to the first FM to get medicine for baby K, but that 1st FM was out of what she was looking for. I'm sure LE went to that FM to verify if in fact they were out of the particular medicine Terry was looking for, at least I hope they did. She has a time stamped receipt, from that store for 9:12, I think it's a Starbuck's receipt, so she can prove she was there, but if in fact the store was not out of what Terry claimed she was in there for, red flag for LE. She proceeds to the second FM, have not heard if she has a receipt from that store, has an eye witness that places her in the store in the time frame. Terry's purpose for going to the second FM was to again find a particular medicine, did she find and purchase it there? Or did she tell LE that store was also out of it? LE can verify if both stores were in fact out of that medicine, she was so hell-o bent on getting. I don't think her time didn't match, what she told LE, I think her reason didn't match as to why she was in those stores. I think she was trying to distance herself from the school between 9:00 and 10:00. I also think she had Kyron in the truck, and that's why the distance in the parking from the entrance of the stores.

hey grandmaj -
there a poll on the theory thread. and I didn't do it. I swear!

(encourages general discussion rather than theory formation - no?)

Emma we just amended the theory thread by adding the poll.......... still a theory thread.
