Why would society even want to start allowing LE to have the final say in what public areas are searched & which ones are not searched?

Exactly. Not to mention, whilst many of them are good people, not all police are the brightest people on the block....at least one of KC's exes comes to mind in that regard (and I don't mean JG)!

I have been flabbergasted by the minimal searching LE has done for Caylee, but assume is is a question of resources for them. I remember when Chandra Levy went missing, it seemed teams of LE were all over the place searching for her.

I am proof alone. I am a member of the TES team they left here. Continued searches do not need to be in the media. The important thing is we are continuing to search.

LE earns every bit of their pay, they're not selling media rights for fun and profit. LP is a bounty hunter - that's all he is. He hunts down criminals for a living. He's not a hero, not a God, he's not even honest half the time, and he's certainly not an expert in looking for the remains of lost children.

If I felt for one minute that his true interest was in finding little Caylee, I'd support his efforts 100%. But I just can't see that as being the case here, he's interested only in making himself famous and in raking in the bucks.

He's interfering with a police investigation, he's corrupting the jury pool, and he's laughing about it all the way to the bank. So no, I can't support that.

Probably 90% of the volunteers searching for Caylee were not experts in finding the remains of children.....maybe people should ask for refunds on the pizza they bought them??? And, IMO, anyone giving up their personal time to search for Caylee or any missing person is a hero in my books, whether they are expert searchers or not.

I'll be searching 3 days this week. There are about 100 of us and we follow TES instructions as they are the experts.

Very few areas were searched compared to the # that were planned so we're going to be busy.

I could maybe understand this if THEY WERE ACTUALLY SEARCHING but I guess their are people out there with a heart that don't want her out there.

I sooo agree. Is it really better if no one keeps an eye out and she's unknowingly walked over by park visitors or better that people first scour the area to do all they can to ensure that doesn't happen? LE haven't searched for her for months now...she may have already been trampled by innocent picknickers. I really don't get why people want the search to stop.

I vote Yes. LP has done more to find Caylee than her own flesh and blood family has.

The difference is that in no way is LP related to the perp, protecting the perp, associated with the perp, or working in concert to raise money to defend the perp in this case.

This is true.

The divers are not going where anyone else will ever go again.

They won't interfere with anything TES is doing.

I don't think what one group is doing puts down or invalidates another.
