Possible 'Mile-Wide UFO' Spotted by British Airline Pilot

  • #21
--->>>I concur, I too believe that WE are not alone in the vast area of vastness, huh, er. GO way out in the country where it is really really dark and LOOK UP, and just think about it. When looking up into the sky, it is important to have your mouth hang open also. HOW can anyone not believe that there are OTHERS out there.

Now why would 'they' who reported the incident NOT report the entire information about the sighting, HOW COME?

There is so much visual evidence by credible people that you would nearly have to be living underneath a rock with moss on top to NOT believe that there are OTHERS our there. The BIG question, will any of us live long enough to know it as a fact??

Government hides other stuff from us why not this?

DK, that sighting I heard of several days ago, so I did not read your link. BUt the story I heard mentioned an official British UFO government group doing active investigations. Is it possible that our Government does not or has not shared with the Brits OR OR did our goverment get them to start their own department to investigate?

So I do wonder how much the aliens paid to visit EARTH DISNEYLAND BALL shaped place? Wonder what food and snack they are served on their fun trips to EARTH, or whatever they call us??
Wonder what their currency is metal/paper/plastic CCd's or do they write checks too? Bank check might say 'UFO-United Folks from 'the' OUTSIDE.

.

Camper, I have a feeling we wouldn't want to hear what they call us.

By, the way, has anyone called on Will Smith? He's the one who takes care of us in these sorts of situations. ;) :p

Well, DK, your pop and my dear husband should get together and talk UFOs together. They're both the rational type it seems and tend to debunk these kinds of sightings rather easily. Let's face it...most of these sightings are just what your father has indicated and my husband says - which I gloomily accept. I prefer the cool possibility we're not alone. Shucks, I KNOW WE'RE NOT ALONE! Heck, our gross senses couldn't possibly account for everything that surrounds us! How rediculous. But, I'm not sure we are really visited by intelligent BEINGS from other planets - yet.

Ah well, it's still fun to speculate. I keep wondering just what I'd do if I were on an airplane @ 35000 ' and casually look out the window - expecting to see another airplane amongst the clouds - when a very weird UFO appeared? Whoohoo! Wonder if I'd have a quiet heart attack, pee my britches, pass out, or yell real loud, or what? Maybe I'd grab my camera, but doubt it if I'm on British Airways.

I don't think my dad disbelieves in flying saucers, he just doesn't believe every UFO is one, lol. There are some cloud formations that take on saucerlike shapes and have been reported as UFO's numerous times. I would theorize that's what happened here.

This thread officially gets my stamp of approval. :p

These are the cloud formations I was referring to:

See what I mean?

--->>>Fabulous picture DK, but there are no windows in it.

I Personally have never seen a UFO, which I find strange, cuz I look at the heavens a lot AFTER dark.

I wonder IF any UFO's have ever been seen from the more popular observatories? Many official reports of UFO's have been reported by military and commercial pilots.

Yes, DK, I get what you're saying about your pop. My husband is a skeptic, but is open to the possibility...just doesn't think it's likely.

I read many pilots (both military and commercial in this country) don't bother to report what they see anymore at the risk of being labeled because of their experience plus they have to go through a bunch of paperwork and debriefing because of it. Anyone else hear about that?

Has this been asked before about the mile long UFO? Did the air traffic control see anything on their screens while this was being reported by the pilot?

We should all be saying outloud daily 'I hope the aliens don't take all the criminals' then maybe we could save some tax dollars when they think the criminals are important.

On a lighter note, we went to Roswell last time we had to evacuate for a Hurricane (we started turning each evacuation into a 2 week vacation) and we didn't see any aliens. I was so dissapointed. We did get to go gambling and eat a huge amount of mountain apples and chile laced food.

I don't think most people are ready for alien contact. Individual people are smart. It's when you get a bunch of those individuals together when they start acting like chuckleheads.

Thank you VERY much, DK. I live at the foot of an 11,000 foot mountain. We see these types of clouds all the time and they are indeed, very "other worldly."

I didn't think they were space ships, but I also didn't know what to call them.

A mile long UFO? How is something that supposed to be a mile long not make a lot of noise? Sure, they can use anti-gravity fields to disperse the atmosphere around them to stay afloat. But you'd think that would cost massive amounts of energy. It would probably help heat up the atmosphere too. Hey, there's your reason for global warming! Damn aliens!

Awesome cloud pics. Except, they look like clouds and at night they don't light up. Anyone know about the Phoenix lights? Seen by hundreds.

I keep HOPING I'll see a UFO because that would be cool, but they are hiding from me.

I completely believe anything is possible, so when the time comes I can say, "I knew it!"

I've been listening to Art Bell and the new host on Coast to Coast AM for years and find this guy very interesting:

http://www.billymeier.com/

He's seen more UFOs than anyone.

I must say that was a very awesome picture of an unusual cloud formation. But in my case what we saw was almost right above us and was clearly not a cloud in way shape or form... this was an aircraft that only hovered, did not make a sound and had "windows or lights". I have yet to see a cloud do that... I know what I saw and it will never leave my memory. I don't want to say a life changing event, but in some ways it is. This came totally unexpected to us and actually spooked my husband. I was begging him to stop and he would not. He later said he did not know what that thing was going to do and did not want to stick around. I on the other hand was willing to put the whole family in "jeopardy", Lol, to try and get a photo and figure out what this was!! I am a Christian, raised Baptist, and so for me this is hard for me to figure out and wrap my mind around. I would rather believe it was military then alien because that would make more sense to me. If you all knew me personally you would know that I am not one to lie or fabricate stories and this is why everyone I know who I have told this story to has said to me they would not believe it had it not come from me.. also the photo link I provided earlier was only of a similiar type ship. Ours was more distinct and with less "lights and or windows". I must resign myself that not everyone is going to believe me because quite frankly I never believed the others and actually still don't believe too many of the stories..Lol, I guess a person never really believes it to see it yourself.

I am fascinated by this stuff. It is a little naive to think that in this HUGE universe of ours, that there is not life elsewhere.

The Earth is so unbelievable small compared to other planets out there in other solar systems, its a miracle anyone even finds us.

I think they may be onto something.... :innocent:

Maybe this is all their really after... Lol

A lenticular cloud seen from above, at an angle that refracted sunlight showing only the spectrum in the yellow to green range... that is exactly what their description sounds like.

I do not believe little green men are visiting us, but I do think it is arrogant of the human race to believe that our planet is the one and only place where biological entities are in existance in the cosmos. Now, I do believe in little green witches that fly around on brooms and chase after little brats that stole her sisters shoes. If this had been an Elphaba/Wicked Witch of the West sighting, I would have been totally impressed... ;)
(Totally, though, I would love to have seen a lenticular from the their (the pilots) point of view... I am totally envious on that!!! )
