Possible sighting of Caylee-direct from Tim Miller of Texas Equusearch

Exactly. Please anyone who can help corroborate this tip in the Dallas area, please help! I, as well as the rest of us I'm sure, would love nothing, NOTHING more than to see little Caylee come home alive. We know the facts of the case as they have been given to us but we are missing BIG pieces which we are taking leaps to fill in the gaps with assumptions. So, with that said, let's help Tim any way we can to verify or invalidate this tip if we can. I wish I was in TX because I would help in a heartbeat.

I have several military contacts in TX and will get this to them ASAP.

I'm sorry you don't believe me, but Tim did say it to me. I first got it from someone else at TES, and before doing anything else, I called Tim directly. Then, I checked with Tricia before I posted it.

ETA - I would caution everyone however, not to get your hopes up. We have seen "credible tips" come in before, to no avail. All we can do is either help Tim with what he asked, or not, based on our own personal feelings. I for one can't do anything but help. It's up to each of you to make your own personal decision, and I understand that each person may feel differently. I take absolutely no issue with that.

And Tim told you to "get the word out"??? He wants people scrambling down to Texas to confirm this report? He wants potential searchers in TX instead of with him in FL. Again, I don't believe it.

I'm shocked to hear Cindy is at the search site today. She is not someone that I would like to run into, at this moment.

Mr. Litig8r was very nonchalant about it - he tends to be rational like that. Me? Not always so much! :slap:

Since Trisha confirmed I believe it's true. I've lost respect for Tim, sorry. Guess I will be banned now.

I'm thinking there may have been more than one tip about Texas or there was something not being said about the tip that makes this one important.
I know they get a lot of tips in daily, but there had to have been something more crucial for him to make that statement.

How close is this area to the Mexican border?

I'll tell ya what - if a credible sighting of my missing child came through - I'd be on the next plane to the city/town/state. Let's hope Cindy and George are planning to do just that.

Since TES is obviously based in Texas, I wonder if someone called in the tip to get them to go back home. Perhaps they are getting too close?

I seem to remeber Cindy in the clip with the no tresspassing signs and the hammer. She mentioned being upset because a lake nearby was being searched. She stated something to the effect that Caylee was alive and searching that lake was not going to bring her home. Also, I believe she mentioned a credible lead in texas and was complaining that no one was looking for Caylee (alive). Anyone know where that clip might be. It may hold helpful clues.

Yes, he told me to "get the word out"

No, he does not want to re-direct searchers from FL to TX, and that is not what I stated. LOCAL RESIDENTS should be aware and media.

No one is going to leave Florida to check out a tip in TX. It's just that people out and about today - in their cars, in the stores, at the parks, etc KEEP YOUR EYES OUT...as we all should be doing anyway, no matter what state we live in.

amazing...there is a missing (and yes possibly dead) little girl and everyone is questioning tips from a HUGE organization that has found over 300 missing people.

Forget your theories and opinions - if there's a possible sighting, get the word out. Who are any of us to make a judgment call like that based on our opinions and theories of the case?

I know for a fact barb is in contact with Tim, and i was on the phone with erin this morning and their phones were ringing off the hook at the TES office!

With all due respect prego, chillax. :blowkiss: I don't think we're questioning the information coming from Tim - I think we are questioning where this information may have originated before if got to Tim.

I feel compelled to point out that Cindy has been at search headquarters - confirmed by Mr. Litig8r (who is searching today). No disrespect to Tim whatsoever - but I would like to know where this information originated.

As much as myself and everyone else would like to find Caylee alive and well, I just don't think this is the case.

I have the utmost respect for Tim and I think he's in a very delicate position right now. He has to tread lightly and if the Anthony family wants information of Caylee sightings announced, it's a peacekeeping situation.

Considering that LE reported that they are searching for a body at this point based on the forensic evidence they have (and that includes evidence not released to the public), why would TES considering sightings of Caylee as even being a possibility at this point?

Are they not working with LE so to speak? I guess what is confusing me is that they found:

Gases from trunk of car indicate decomposing body was in trunk.
Still trying to identify the stain found in the trunk.
Hair from Caylee in the trunk (from her head when she was alive?)

I am not sure that it was confirmed that it was from her head after death. Was the description of the bacteria just to differentiate between hair from a live body versus a dead one?

Is it possible that while there was a body in the trunk, it was not Caylee? The hair is key evidence since if it were from her head after death, it would be easily identified as such.

It is just too confusing to have LE say Caylee is dead and they are looking for a body, and TES, who is great at what they do validating a sighting in Texas.

They just don't seem to be working TOGETHER.

TES probably has more specific information and will search in whatever direction they are
sent. My question: what and who qualifies a tip to be credible.

Sweet Jesus. My heart just dropped into my stomach.

I could be in Farmers Branch in 30 minutes.

Need more info!

There has been a credible, possible sighting of Caylee in the Farmer's Branch, TX area (near Dallas). He is asking that people get the word out, and that people in that area be on the lookout.

Hi guys,
I have been lurking, but just had to post now. I live 2 hours east of Dallas. I will spread the word in my small town for everyone to keep their eyes open...wish I could do more.
