I thought a colorized version of Fire Island Jane Doe might help. Since brown hair and brown eyes are dominant in the US, that's why I chose those colors.

Wow scotiansleuth what a lot of work that must have been! That map is great -so detailed with all of the links. It really helps you visualize all of the homicides in the area.

If it's useful I've been sleuthing property records for Suffolk County through this http://gis3.suffolkcountyny.gov/gisviewer/
Some properties have the owner listed but most don't. There's also this site http://neighbor.report/ where you can type in an address and it will pull up the names, occupations and phone numbers of the neighbors near it. Between the two I've been trying to figure out which house Lee Ann describes the party being at and who might have lived there...

The house was owned by Feingold. He died in early 2011. He had a business near Brewers on Higbie Rd or Lane in West Islip.

How about Sarah Murray missing from Virginia. Last seen on 2/18/97 in the company of an adult male. She was 14 when she went missing. (all three pictures below are of Sarah Murray.
