Possible Victim: Natasha Jugo, 31, Queens, Body Washed Ashore and belongings found on Gilgo Beach Mar 2013 *car fnd Ocean Pkwy*

It couldn't possibly be Natasha Jugo, could it? If she had been in the water since she went missing in March, there wouldn't be much left to wash ashore by now. (I couldn't think of a more delicate way to phrase that.)
For her family's sake part of me is hoping it is her so they can have closure but the other half the me (the realistic part) says that this is not her. If she did drown then her remains are long gone (literally as well as figuratively - as you said).

My guess is that this is a swimmer who had a medical emergency or got swept away by the current.

Probably. Though they are saying no one like that has been reported missing...

Now I'm going go out on a limb and say she didn't just drown. Blunt force trauma and another person is involved. Check cab records for the night her car was found.

she disappeared..in the winter
and she turns up NOW on a beach?

It does seem fishy. I'm curious to the state of decomp. Kinda hard to believe the body was floating around gilgo since march and finally washed up.

I was thinking new MO also. This killer will not stop because the others were discovered. I wonder if she has any ties to Gilgo at all. Is it her beach of chose during the summer months?

If this is related to the case- leaving the victims car on the OP is really taunting LE. Pretty ballsy. Then possibly returning to discard the body? Wow. Lets wait to see what ME says if they even release that.

its not written anywhere
that she was an escort.

(was she?)
yes, the car....left at the scene
is particularly .....outstandingly disturbing.

and she disappeared.
so..you think
the CAR was left there
but no body...
hmmmmm

now it turns up...
one mile from where the car was left?
that close?
no - she was NOT in the long island sound for 3 months.
no way

absolutely not.
there is no way. there are too many people on the water
on a daily basis that would have seen a body floating.

and if she was an escort
pimps kill their girls for all sorts of reasons.

there's a saying
no stitches - no snitches.

she could have been killed by her pimp
and then car placed at gilgo
and now....her body is found.
but...was she an escort? or is there an ex husband or ex boyfriend in the picture?

That body of water is not the Long Island Sound. Is anyone knowledgable on decomp in salt water? What shape would the body be in IF it was in the water since March? Does anyone have exact location of where the car and where the body were found?

if not long island sound.
what water was it?
on the news
where the body was found... it looked like waves...albeit small
gently...landing (not crashing) on shore.

I find it very hard to believe her body was in the water all these months and only just happened to show up now. I also doubt that there would be much left (to put it delicately) after 4 months in the ocean.

Its on the ocean side. To the east is the Great South Bay.

For anyone wondering about the condition of a body recovered from a "suicide drowning", here's some info:

http://www.dundee.ac.uk/forensicmedicine/notes/water.pdf

(Need to copy & paste this URL into your address bar, thought it was clickable when I copied the address of the pdf for this article.)

I know I have not been here much, but am I the only person that finds it odd that this woman goes missing, and the only photo provided to the media is an old, blurry photo that looks like it was cross processed repeatedly, then put on the TV for all to see...?

My point is, I know that if I go missing, my friends and family wouldn't give a crappy photo like that, and only 1 at that.... They'd give clean, clear, crisp photos, recent and older.... Not one completely outdated, beat up, glared up photo.

What if there's no water in NJ's lungs (meaning she didn't drown)? What if tests show she'd only been in the water for a few weeks, and if LE discovers that she died of, say, strangulation? Does anyone think that the SCPD would reveal that info to the public, or even to NJ's relatives? I don't.

I don't believe for one second that she has been in the water for 3 months.

Will they eventually reveal this to the public if this is indeed the case? I doubt it ... look at how tightlipped they have been over the past year.
