Post Verdict -Working Out The Unresolved Questions

If you are keeping track of the sexual rendezvous', are you including the almost 2 hour long sex recording? How many other times have they had phone sex?

I still believe that 45 minute or so phone call they had before she left Yreka (Jun3) was a phone sex call. moo

I don' think Travis had much sex up until Jodi. She opened up new doors for him, kinda like some sort of tantric sex. He even said on the phone sex recording that he never masturbated as much as until he met her.

Which leads to the next question. What the phone sex recording planned? Did Jodi do it behind his back in an attempt to frame him with it?

I believe they planned this and were acting upon their fantasies.

I only know some of these answers. I'm not counting the sex tape. I'm counting intercourse of some kind and physical foreplay.

I think the sex tape was planned. The part at the beginning about "getting normalized and see where it takes us..." and when they'd starting talking sex, there was a part where one of them said they'd gotten into it more quickly than they'd thought.

She claimed on the stand that they'd done other sex calls, and when asked where those recordings were, she said they hadn't done it until she got the phone that could record because her old on and Travis' couldn't, allegedly.

Then she say they'd done it again on the last phone--the one that took the beauty shots in the car on June 3rd--but she'd deleted them after the murder.

So I happened to get a screen shot of the May 26th text that I hadn't seen before. Willmott was flipping that packet and when I froze it, I saw:

Travis:I don't really care. You haven't seem to care about privacy in the past. Just leave the voicemail or nothing.

Jodi: Well, I'm not going to leave you the incriminating part on the voicemail or anywhere. So we can forget that part. I'll tell you the other part but I needs a response from you about it, deal? (this text was 5.26.08 at 4:08am, which is really 5/25/08 at 9:08 pm.)

Travis doesn't respond until 5/26/08 at 11:59, where he says he sent her a response to her dire conversation.

For some reason, my attach button isn't opening, so I can't attach it right now, but I guess now we know that whatever he wanted Jodi to put on the voicemail had a self-incriminating aspect to it, and That was probably why Travis wanted her to say or put whatever on his voicemail. But what could be incriminating enough to precipitate his death?

Certainly not just a phone sex tape threat or a BMW issue. Well, for one thing, the sex call had plenty of incriminating parts, and I would think he knew what he'd said on it. But maybe he wanted to hear it for himself. She'd already claimed to have lost the phone a week or so earlier.

I'd also think it's an empty thread to tell Jodi what he'd tell the hughes and everyone else about what she'd done if it was in regard to the sex call. I just can't see Travis going around telling people "She recording me telling her I like tossed salads, park ranger suits, tying people to trees and working the booty." I just think it's bigger than the sex call tape. Maybe pilfering money out of his accounts.

ETA: okay. I was able to attach it. I guess I shouldn't have been sleeping through ALV's direct.

I think he wasn't worried because JA had nothing. She was pulling his chain or she would have left him a message on his voicemail. He was quite aware of her lying and it appears he was calling her bluff. She was losing control over him and she knew it. jmo

Wow, really good catch, this was during ALV's direct? I will have to watch all of that.

Yeah, Willmott was going chronologically through the relationship. I caught other things I hadn't before, like TA and JA went to roswell AZ in March 08, I believe it was. I saw the photos from roswell, but didn't know the time frame. Well, Feb or March.

Then I learned that it really was Feb 25th 08 that JA went to Vegas and saw Gus. ALV notes a trip where Jodi stood TA for a pizza parlor date or something to do to Vegas, and she was meeting some new dude, can't recall his name right now. Schultz was the last name. She claimed in her journal that she had to come home early (without stopping by Hoover dam for pictures) because Travis was "guilting" her about being gone two days.

What is`it with her never being able to photograph hoover dam?

Okay, so Roswell was written about on March 13, 2008, and I believe she was VERY blonde at that time, and the OKC conference was around that same time. So Ryan burns was absolutely right that she'd had blonde hair then.

I also learned that they first had vaginal sex (awake LOL) around August 17, 2008. I think that's actually the first time period. And it makes sense because TA says in the sex call that he didn't know why they'd waited so long.

BBM ~ I must of missed that part. To me, their relationship was so short lived (1.5 years) and that's why I don't buy ALV's DV claim.

Imo, the relationship was a power struggle with both of them using their powers and dominance over each other. Travis had the status, popularity. Jodi had the looks and a money magnet if need be. This caused imbalance and a power struggle. Jodi got the last word in.

One thing that confuses me still, is the darned Helio phones.

So, she had one, lost it, found it in aunt's car? This one had the sex recording on it?

Then Gus replaced it and that's the one she had on the road trip?

Yes, I think she scammed him a big way. Which, imo, as much as she was causing him much stress, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I still wonder if she took anything valuable when she left Mesa for Yreka?

Thanks for getting that information. :seeya:

BBM ~ Did Jodi pass Hoover Dam on the way to SLC? Maybe that's where she ditched the weapons.

New episode of "Deadly Sins" featuring our very own Killer JA.

Saturday January 11th at 9PM ET, Investigation Discovery Channel

Just FYI :seeya:

It's really interesting and provides more clarity to see things laid out chronologically. The 2/18/07 email seems to support that she was not in a committed relationship with Travis at that time and further supports that he did not send her anything on Valentine's Day.

Thanks for the hard work. It's much appreciated. I don't think that the relationship was anything like was the DT tried to portray.

One of my pet BS calls was the story that ALV related about CMJA going to a Diamondbacks game on Travis's birthday and him calling her at the game and demanding that she come spend his birthday with him. This would have been almost concurrent with her moving to Mesa, something that he absolutely did not want. With his active social life, I sincerely doubt that he did not have plans, nor do I believe that he would have wanted to spend his birthday with her. There was also the picture of a birthday cake that she made and posted to her MySpace page the day after his birthday (I can't access her MySpace page anymore).

Oh I know! I would like some back-up evidence to those events. Travis probably needed Jodi for something that he held against him such as a car, money or whatever she leeched off him.

Wow, what a good catch!
So we now know there were at least two issues going on May 26.
One that Travis was looking to incriminate Jodi but Jodi ain't telling + one that Jodi was willing to tell depending on his response to her 'dire conversation'.

Since Jodi herself uses the word incriminating, Travis definitely had something nasty on her, much bigger than her usual manipulations and tricks such as sending him the 'Steve email' on purpose to show Travis that she is discussing their relationships with other people and maybe to see if he might get jealous.

So what is the incriminating part? Why did Martinez omit bringing this out?
Wish we could see the whole texts, emails, and Ims.

Good grief...

On the Support For Perryville Prison Inmates And Family FB page, convicted arsonist Donavan Bering now claims she has power of attorney for a loved one in Perryville Prison.

Can a convicted felon do that?!

This crime culture/family just blows my mind... :scared:

This clearly shows how angry Travis is:

" ( 26 May 2008, 09:14:02 ):

"You are a sociopath. You only cry for yourself. You have never cared about me and you have betrayed me worse than any example I could conjour you are sick and you have scamed me."

----------------------------------------------

Scammed him? How did she scam him?

Maybe he was scamming someone, and she threatened to rat him out for this?

There was something very big going on to prompt Travis to get so angry. His friends have tried to figure this out, but have not come up with anything concrete.

Some, including those friends, have hypothesized that she planned to blackmail him with the sex tape. I think it may have been even more sinister.

If we knew the answer to this, it would shed a whole new light on everything.

Whatever it was, he was done with her and he planned to expose her to get her out of his life. While I don't think that it was highly criminal in nature, I do think that it would have shamed her in an unspeakable way.

This is one of the only roadblock in this case where I wish I knew the answer to.

Was a mutual friend involved? Was there a horrible, unspeakable secret? This is where claimed pedophile behaviour on Travis' part but, I believed she weaved this from Joshua Freeman.

I agree with a lot of that about their relationship.

The phones were like this:

She had a phone, I guess the one she'd been using for the longest. When she moved to Yreka, she claimed to have lost or ruined her phone, so Gus got her another one. He made it seem as if he didn't have to pay for it for some reason.

The phone Gus gave her was a Helio. She used that from April 8, 2008 or around the time she moved, until May 22, 2008, I guess when her journal reports that the Helio was lost. The Helio had the sex call recording on it from May 10.

So her insurance company sends her another phone. I do not know if this is third phone is a Helio, but it's the one she claims to have recorde more sex calls on (but deleted them), and she took the June 3rd car pictures with it. To my understanding, this phone was never lost.

In 2010, I believe, her Helio phone resurfaced (which is phone 2), and it was purportedly found in her grandfather's truck.

Oh, wow, I wish I could see that cake. Can you remember any background details in the photo? Cause that would prove where she really was when she made it. Well...I just remembered. We're talking about Jodi. He could have been out with Lisa, and Jodi sneaked in through the doggie door to make the cake in his house! LOL

These details make it quite obvious why people like Rachel were not called to testify. Rachel was supposedly the person who drove her to Travis' house for the cake baking.

You're right about it being around the time she moved or was trying to move. She probably thought she'd be such a great birthday surprise for him if she could arrive on that day. I don't recall getting the exact date of the move yet. So I have to watch out for that.

Was a mutual friend involved? Was there a horrible, unspeakable secret? This is where claimed pedophile behaviour on Travis' part but, I believed she weaved this from Joshua Freeman.

She didn't start weaving that story until she had been in jail awhile. Maybe after she started talking with the psychologists. Trust me, if it happened as she said she would have written it down in her journal. She didn't, nor did she report anything to friends, LE, the Hughes, etc. It's just another weapon she was trying to use to yet destroy Travis again and again. The idea was to create the illusion that somehow she did society a favor. It's really all his fault, you know. She's a gem. No wonder her ex's all wanted to get away from her. jmo

I wish I had the page of texts right before the one I put the screen shot up of. But it seems that day, the went from phone to text to Iming to email, didn't they? They used ALL forms of communications that day.

And it's the following week, that Mimi says she last saw Travis. It was probably June 1 or 2. I think it was June 2nd for FHE. She said in her testimony that Travis had told her that Jodi had hacked into his social accounts and email. I can't remember if he said bank account, as well.

Also, I believe it was May 17, 2008 when one of his friends said he'd decided to break the final tie with Jodi and I believe that friend said Travis had shown him the kiss-off email. I read this in an article. I need to find it and link it, but I was so tired last night, I completely forgot what article I was looking at. I want to say I was looking at Radaronline.

Oh, when did she write him that "give me credit for editing email?" I have the email, but the date appear to be cut off of the top.
