It's really interesting and provides more clarity to see things laid out chronologically. The 2/18/07 email seems to support that she was not in a committed relationship with Travis at that time and further supports that he did not send her anything on Valentine's Day.
Thanks for the hard work. It's much appreciated. I don't think that the relationship was anything like was the DT tried to portray.
One of my pet BS calls was the story that ALV related about CMJA going to a Diamondbacks game on Travis's birthday and him calling her at the game and demanding that she come spend his birthday with him. This would have been almost concurrent with her moving to Mesa, something that he absolutely did not want. With his active social life, I sincerely doubt that he did not have plans, nor do I believe that he would have wanted to spend his birthday with her. There was also the picture of a birthday cake that she made and posted to her MySpace page the day after his birthday (I can't access her MySpace page anymore).
The more I look at things, the more I agree with you, GC. The recognized relationship between the two of them was very brief, and I'm wondering, based on what I've seen from Chris and Sky Hughes, if it wasn't simply some kind of experiment for Travis--testing the waters with Jodi. The rest of it seems entirely sexual--nothing else. That was Travis's big mistake.
Here is this 30-year-old man who has been repressed sexually--ok, there was Deanna--but really repressed. That's not healthy. But he made his choices and ended up with a mentally, morally, and emotionally deficient individual. His texts or emails or whatever they were from May 26 show that he knew she was a sociopath; he knew she was mentally and morally deficient well before any psychologists evaluated her and came up with essentially the same conclusion.
He must have been so horrified.
