The question was, what changed on everybody's theories? Well in my case:

- In the meantime, SG was found about where my theory said
- LE slept out the chance to have a look on old traffic cam recordings
- LISK has probably in the meantime a newer truck since business leases run for usually three years.

otherwise, my theory is well and alive.

Oak Beach hasn't. The causeway has. And as I suggested since two years, it would be worth to look at the records from the causeway whether there is an American-made pickup between 72 and 96 hours after any of the disappearances somewhere in the time between midnight and 4 am. But since we can be sure, the tapes (or rather recordings) are in the meantime erased, no chance anymore.

No, I said actually traffic cams all the time. Mocking Bird said security cams. So TRAFFIC cams would amde sense in Oak Beach if the TRAFFIC would lead through Oak Beach ... which it doesn't. Security cams would make sense in a gates community and espacially at the entrances, but they are for the taks, I wanted to get done irrelevant due to wrong and to narrow angles. So, I said TRAFFIC and I said TRAFFIC CAM on the causeway. Please stop to turn the words in my mouth.

so what is the purpose of the gate?
there's no man in there raising the gate to get into O.B.
its a key punch system.

that's a really silly reason to have 4 cameras at a gate house.
don't these people know how to drive?
if if one accidentally HITS the gatehouse because they are having a problem driving - aren't the members of this gated community trust to say - oh - hey - (pres of obi) sorry - I hit the gate on my way home tonight.
oops.

one has to wonder how often that gatehouse gets hit by cars.

I can't believe that is the ONLY reason they have cameras but I wouldn't begin to speculate.

Also, I don't know how often that gate might be hit but I'm certain someone has to pay when they do.

wouldnt security cameras at a front gate to get into a gated community
be it on foot or on wheels - be for protection
in case a home got robbed?
you'd have a record of license plates and vehicles and people?

and by any chance, one has to wonder if there was a central computer
that the residents could see the gate - like a camera that they know
the code and can see for themselves who is at the gate - before they
raise the gate - sort of like those traffic cams.

so if the purpose of the security cameras is for protection and to witness
any trouble....that might occur in oak beach, it doesnt make sense that the tapes were taped over ...

because on may 1, 2010 - there WAS trouble in oak beach and at least half a dozen residents were so aware of it - they called the police.

so....they have NO REASON except to HIDE something - for allowing the tapes to "tape over" themselves....

ps149 even mentioned the security cameras at the gate- stating that pak would have known the cameras where there. how would he know - cuz he'd been there before?

according to GC, CS was "in charge" of the cameras--but rumors have floated the KG watched as someone erased the tapes clean--then, later KG changed the story to saying it auto-looped over itself, it's on a 2 week loop---and, according to GC , he himself turned the actual HARD DRIVE, which wasn't wiped clean, over to le

Erased,taped over whatever they want to call it, its still in the harddrive. Unless it was removed and they changed the system.

deedee21, what you're saying here is wrong. The hard drive has a limited amount of storage and the system is always erasing it's oldest info/data to record it's latest info/data. It's a constant loop of new data over writing old data.

I understand what your saying. The reason i said that is because i remember a case in either S. or N. Carolina. A DT told a apt. Manager he needed to view the security tape. The manager said that it already started to record over. He went on to say that what was already recorded was stored in the system. He was able to give him what he needed.i guess some systems are better than others.

Homicide has the hard drive. It is no use because it only records photos of license plates of vehicles that enter through the gate (and not when they exit). The hard drive does not back up the video cameras. It is only for the one camera that takes the snapshot.

The hard drive has confirmed with the investigators what vehicles entered the OBA community (and at what times). So if you think there was a field trip to CVS or outside the gated community, then the hard drive will either support or disprove your theory.
