the OTHER end of oak beach community does NOT have a gate house, gate or cameras. so why are there cameras at the gate house?

The gates, gate house and cameras are at the entrance to the OIBA. Not all of Oak Beach is in the OIBA.

but allegedly the camera posts over it self every 24 hours.
One person posted the camera was in case anyone hit the gate house.

U folks seem to forget is when SG was in the middle of all and the cops came it was no big deal. cops came and looked around, saw nothing and left. not unusual for such a call. going to the videotape was not even considered. happens all the time.

on the other hand if the cops don't like what's on the tape they don't bother looking at it.

How many of you believe that the LISK will ever be arrested. I dont think the SCPD has the will or ability to handle this case. If they did an arrest would have been made already. Serial killers are caught in one of three ways:

- when they start to do stupid things. Like Bundy speeding and when he got stopped starting a fight with the officer.

- when they turn themselves in or commit suicide (happens more often than people realize)

- by profiling, which mostly doesn't happen because either the profiling is inaccurate or, more often, people just don't listen.

Never ever any PD caught a serial killer by classic investigative methods, as far as I know. So, either he makes a mistake, he gets fried by his even nastier colleague or he will die from old age.
