Potential suspect in cold cases

I am a new user so I apologize if this is not the correct place for this to be placed.
I have a family member who has recently told me they believe another family member may be a serial rapist or murderer. I was told to come on this site and give out the information I have and someone may have more information via old news clippings or stories to see if the information matches.

A White bald caucasian male with glasses driving a beige 2 toned station wagon attempted to kidnap young girls around middle school - high school age around 1984-1996. He attempted to lure minors into his car. This took place in Los Angeles County specifically in the San Fernando Valley.

Does anyone have any information on cases similar to this one during the same time period? I can add additional information if necessary.
