Considering there was an hours notice it would have been a hell of a trip from San Antonio to Tempe.

LOL!...I know, I was just being facetious, regarding how badly the FOX link to the presser and interview with the attorney was. :)

And I'll be yelling and shaking my fist at my TV screen.

Oh, Thank God. I knew I couldn't be the only one. My fiance thinks I'm certifiably insane.

I'm not understanding how you can "close" a case on an open investigation of a missing child. If she is involved, nothing can be closed until they determine what happened to this child.

The missing child case isn't closing. That's handled by San Antonio PD, because that's where Gabe went missing.

Tempe is only handling what happened in AZ. That's the part that's closing, e.g., Tammi trying to illegally adopt Gabe, trying to illegally sever Logan's parental rights, forging the documents that said there was the possibility of another bio dad, etc.

It's two different jurisdictions each handling only the events that occurred in their area.

I bet the cops were just giddy! After her smack talk about how they should do this or that... LOL

Here's why my hopes are doubled today. Did anyone notice how seamlessly this all happened? Tempe handed over all their evidence to San Antonio and arrested Tammi (refocusing their resources and energy). San Antonio announced this is still a missing baby investigation and has stepped up to the plate. Logan heads off on his trip with his cousin and KPHO reporter in tow. JJ Armes is waiting to meet him in El Paso tonight.

Is anyone else hearing the "Cops" theme song in their head right now? LMAO.

Love that word "giddy"...can just picture all those cops dancing around and high-fiving each other in a "giddy way". LOL!

But wouldn't other possible charges be forthcoming depending on how her actions to facilitate a fraudulent adoption across state lines may have resulted in this baby's demise?

YES, YES, YES!!! There's alot more going on behind the scenes here!

I was wondering if that makes this a Federal case or Federal charges should they decide to go that route.

Didn't see the presser - darn. Has anyone come up with her mug shot? I checked the web site but came up empty. Does she go by Tammi Smith?

http://www.mcso.org/index.php?a=GetModule&mn=Mugshot

Thanks,

Mel

From what I understand, the Sheriff's office/jail doesn't post everyone's mug shots on their site due to the manpower involved, but if they do put up her mug shot, it will probably be there tomorrow. Right now, I have a feeling that Tammi is still in Tempe jail and probably won't make it to the 4th Ave intake (in Phoenix) till later today.

I got that much out of it when they said there were several agencies involved. I'm hoping this is going to find not only Gabriel but a few others in the process. I can hope, can't I?

weird... there's some feed/news coming in and out of that Fox 10 link

Well I think the Tempe SA and the San Antonio SA have already conferred and decided to let Tempe bring the charges. It would be extremely difficult to prosecute for essentially the same crimes in the same set of events in two jurisdictions in two different states.

I'm still going to hold out hope for some sort of charge in TX against her for not rescuing Gabe when she had ample opportunity. If she had simply told Logan that Gabe was in San Antonio, or given him Eliz's cell number, anything that would have easily traced her, Gabe would have been back home safe and sound in his daddy's arms, surrounded by a family who loves him dearly, before Christmas.

I don't know what the charge for something like that is. And I can't think of a charge that would really make me feel better. But I just want something brought against her specifically for that. It is so morally reprehensible.

He was cussing a little bit ago and mentioning Judge Judy :)

It's like Reality TV, except it isn't staged

Guys...the report on our local fox affiliate had a screen shot of the court paperwork where they go into detail on the texts. I am guessing this is public info? I was able to rewind and pause and read just a little.

So I am listening on and off to the Fox Live feed and I am getting sound bites as they are editing the presser-- LE made the statement that they have evidence and reason to believe that TS ultimate goal was to somehow gain custody sometime, somewhere in the future --
which makes me thing we are very close to seeing Gabriel in Logan's arms!

hmmn I wonder if that is why she said she was downsizing in one of her CL lists

When will we get to see this presser! grrr
