I think she is pregnant already. They seem to do things differently than the other royals and since Prince harry was bumped down to 6th in line.

In that case, there could be a new royal baby for Christmas ;)

I don’t think so she and Harry have been on a weight loss regime for the big day. Meghan will have been concerned about fitting into her dress and looking her best. I predict a pregnancy announcement at Christmas.

What gives you pause to seriously think that she is pregnant already?

One of the recurring themes in the Lifetime movie about Harry and Meghan is the bride-to-be's desire to have children soon. She is 36 years old and wants to have more than one child, so it would seem practical that the couple would start a family soon.

Unless it was accidental (not planned), I can't imagine Ms. Markle becoming pregnant and having to deal with morning sickness, fatigue, weight gain, etc. on her wedding day. It's been reported that the couple is delaying their honeymoon until July, so that might be the time when they'll be considering their plans for children.

“As Thomas Markle's attendance at the royal wedding looks increasingly unlikely, royal fans have taken to Twitter to call for Prince Charles to step in.
The retired lighting director, 73, is reportedly undergoing heart surgery today after a dramatic week which saw him pull our of proceedings due to a staged photo scandal, before yesterday insisting he wanted to come and be 'part of history'.

Now royal watchers have insisted that the future king is the perfect replacement and taking on the role would be a sign of 'acceptance' and 'unity' for Charles to do the honours.

Others suggested it would be an equally nice moment for Charles as he has no daughters of his own.”

I was hoping Prince William would walk her down the aisle. What a honor for both Meghan and Harry.

I just think Harry handles his life outside the royal rules to his liking. Meghan was welcomed to the royal family events much sooner than her future sister in law. I like royal babies so it was a just thought. I am probably wrong......

This TODAY show (NBC) article has the most detailed schedule of the wedding day events I've seen to date.

The couple’s service will take place on Saturday, May 19, at St. George's chapel beginning at noon local time — or 7 a.m. EST (4 a.m. PST). But Savannah and Hoda will begin their live coverage on the wedding beginning at 4:30 a.m. EST from a special vantage point overseeing the castle...

Ordinarily, I would agree, but the Lifetime movie about Harry and Meghan was actually quite good. I finally watched it last night, and, in fact, DH watched most of it, too. Sans over-the-top villains or villainesses and cheesy plot lines usually seen in Lifetime flicks, Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance presents the couple as being true soulmates who strive to overcome their inherent differences and focus on their passion for humanitarian causes. BDE rating: B+

Thanks for the review, Bette, I will watch now.

Just for the record, I'm happy for em and wish the circus would close.

I will likely hang here with u folks around 6 a.m. ish EST. I was headed to my MIL's but she has a nasty head cold. She wants me to still call and wake her and I told her to stay tucked in bed to watch. If hubby wakes up I will get a bit of a smile but definitely an eye roll LOL. I was at my Hairdresser's today. He and his Husband will be attending a very flamboyant affair with their British friends in Toronto. Whole area of lawn covered with the Union Flag, British food of course and plenty of alcohol. Cant wait to hear how it goes since Thomas has nothing favourable to say LOL. He feels nobody will care what he has to say as they will all be lambasted. Lordy!!!! Other than that most folks I know are quietly watching at home.

P.S.
I liked the lifetime movie. We need something happy in this world. And here on the board.

My daughter and I watched it and while it was cheesy, she did think it was cute and I thought it was ok enough.

I agree with Piers Morgan for the first time ever. The Markles are the in laws from hell and they will now have a global media platform to embarrass the royal family every time they want a cheque from the sleazy tabloids. If the British establishment is half as sinister as the Diana conspiracy theorists think they are, members of the Markle clan may be meeting with nasty accidents on lonely roads over the coming few years.

I see the "vulture" stepped up her appearance a bit. Blonde to dark hair and a hint of lip color.

Her mom has been silent which I expected , because I think she has it together. I am not going pass judgment on the dad, but I hope he is given some guidance in the future because the Middletons experienced the firm as well.

From the TODAY article I linked above:

...At the same time, Harry and Prince William, his brother and best man, will walk to the chapel, greeting about 200 guests from Harry’s charities who will have gathered at the bottom of the chapel’s West Steps...

Seems like Prince William will be busy enough without the added duty of walking Meghan down the aisle. If her father is absent, I think Meghan should walk herself down the aisle - unless her mom wants to do the honors.

“Meghan Markle's father is alert and out of heart surgery, it has been revealed.
Thomas Markle, 73, underwent surgery on Wednesday morning following a heart attack last week.

Mr Markle told TMZ that doctors implanted stents in his blood vessels.
Meghan's father revealed on Tuesday he wouldn't be able to attend the royal wedding because of the surgery.

Mr Markle revealed this week that doctors planned to 'go in and clear blockage, repair damage, and put a stent where it is needed' during the operation”

I wonder if they could show him the ceremony via Skype instead of watching it on tv which is kind of impersonal.
