She wore jewelry that made the figure go high, not the dress
Well I'm going out on a limb for this & I might never post again: there's a hole in the ozone layer, there are children who go to bed hungry at night, there is human trafficking of babies & children.
I cannot approve of clothing worn by people who should set a more proper example. When you wear a 6 figure dress: if it's given to you by the designer--acknowledge it. Otherwise whatever you say, how ever you feel about the very real horrors occurring in the world: it's hollow and has no meaning.
The jewellery was £139,000, so the dress was about £1000 (less if you're taking shoes and bag into consideration). Bargain![]()

Fun fashion article. What are your favourite looks? I think the Oscar De La Renta dress is the nicest.
Love the ODLR and like quite of few of the others in the article. I really like her in the black sweater and trousers with the buttons.
OT - I don't want to get too busy tomorrow and forget to wish everyone on the Royals forum a very Merry Christmas. As dear Lilibet said so eloquently in her above response to Tony1902, this is a "fluffy" thread that provides a much needed respite from the many sad and sordid discussions that are commonplace on Websleuths. I check the Royals forum several times daily and enjoy everyone's contributions and media links. I hope all of you have a lovely Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with loved ones.
