My, that is one creepy dress. IMHO it is better kept in the bedroom, especially for a member of a royal family.
Hide it in a closet with other skeletons

A £56,000 see through dress and an 'arty' closed eyes photo is more footballer's wives than the Royal Family. It's very naff. Come on Harry, remember your dignity!
MEGHAN MARKLE WORE A LITERAL BALLGOWN FOR HER ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

I do think Princess Diana would have disapproved, sorry to say. She managed to be innovative in fashion and lifestyle while still respecting tradition and social protocol. That's not easy to do, but she did it well.
Harry's bride-to-be reminds me more of poor Fergie. Always striving for publicity and attention, a little too tacky, a little too trashy. Also, a little bit mercenary - trying to make a buck or sell someone's products. JMO.
Just wondering, if this woman wanted to wear that dress so badly, why didn't she save it for some social event where it would be more appropriate? A charity ball or a concert or some formal dinner, etc.
The handmade creation would have taken thousands of hours to make and is estimated to cost £56,000 by Ralph & Russo. From the autumn/winter '16 collection, the floor-length black tulle gown features a silk organza skirt, hand appliquéd with silk tulle ruffles, and an entirely sheer bodice decorated with intricate gold feather thread-work.
Kensington Palace confirmed the gown was 'privately purchased'.
Meghan's decision to wear a gown by the London-based designer for such a high profile occasion shows her commitment to supporting British fashion in her new role as a member of the Royal Family.

The actress? Really? It might help if some people in the US took politics a little more seriously than they do now. It's a serious job with a lot of responsibility, requiring someone who is well educated with relevant career experience and knowledge of US law and the Constitution.
We should never consider candidates just because they're celebrities. Celebrities would be the least qualified and least reliable of all possible candidates. POTUS is not a PR position (though some recent presidents have tried to make it such), it's a real job. The job should be done by the person elected, not by someone behind the scenes who hasn't been elected and is not accountable to the public.

I think she looks gorgeous, yes the dress is a bit sheer and the skirt part isn't my cup of tea, but she wasn't prancing round the palace in it and looks good on the photos. And I have no doubt the designers were thrilled to loan it to her for free, so the tax-payers need to stop clutching their (fake) pearls. People want the royal family to get more modern, and here it is! Main thing is, Harry seems happy. I love Harry.
As they hold hands, sharing a joke or perhaps fresh from an embrace behind the shrubbery, they could easily be promoting some slick Jermyn Street tailor, or maybe one of those watches that can get you to the North Pole while also making you the worlds greatest tennis player.
