Problem with Search function on WS

I have just noticed that there is an issue with the search function on the site. I searched for the threads of two missing persons; for one I didn't get any results and for the other the results I got were very old, like 2011 and older. I knew they both have thread on websleuths and I did find their threads when searching on Google.

eg.: Dennis Terry Adams - I tried searching for Dennis Adams, Dennis Terry Adams, I tried checking the "Search titles only" box but could not find the thread. The thread is here so something is not doing what it's supposed to do.

@Fraize can you take a look, please? There's been a similar issue a few years ago and it was a tough time for some until it got solved. Hopefully there's an easy fix this time.

There was recently an upgrade to our back-end software that, once in place, started to generate some errors in our search indexer. I've had to delete and start rebuilding our search indexer this morning and it's expected to take a few hours.

Sorry for the inconvenience. There are 18.7 million posts, and we're up to about 7.5 million posts reindexed after about an hour and a half. (screenshot below)

Oh, so it's the same thing like last time, I know it took a while then too. It's great that you're already aware and on top of it!

There's also an intermitted Cloudflare outage, so you may occasionally get big ugly whole-page-is-white error message. When it rains, it pours, eh?

I've also noticed the problem with the search function, and I hope it will be solved soon.

I've noticed another error, which doesn't have to do with this update, but have anyone else noticed that the filter function doesn't fully work in the "New posts" forum. There is an option for a 'Save as default', but it doesn't work.
