Great! It's definitely overwhelming, focusing on 1 person is a great way to start.Awesome job! Feeling overwhelmed so just going to grab a UID and run with it. if anything needs to be looked up, hunted down etc just let me know.
Forgive me if this has been posted. I did read but like I said, it's a lot of info.
PMI is "months" 1978-1979 and missing has been missing since 1961. Height is off as is age (only 1 year outside of range). There is also a good distance between the two. I am sharing due to the fact that UID and missing are both reported to have an instep built up in a shoe. Also both reported to have glasses. I'm also far less trusting of the info in some of the older cases.

I thought about that too last night, making sure we’re posting to the individual threads! If anyone needs a newspaper article link, I’m pretty sure I have them all clipped and can post if necessaryGood find! NamUs has him listed as Hispanic. My take from the various sources is that he might have been a mix of Hispanic and Native American.
I went down the rabbit hole of researching hereditary solitary kidney defect (Unilateral renal agenesis) by race to see if we could draw any conclusions, but didn't find anything definitive. Side note, adults can be born with just 1 kidney and never know it unless they have medical problems that require x-rays and testing.
In addition to the race issue, the ages reported seem to place him closer to 40 years old. The fact that he was wearing yellow sweatpants seems out of character for a 20 year old, too. I doubt this is Chris Zahn, but it would be great to get him officially ruled out on NamUs.
GJKJR did you add the articles you found to the Keysburg Doe thread on WS? It would be good to do that. And, in keeping within TOS, I think we need to include the source with the article image. (i.e.newspaper/date)
Seemed kind of specific for just physical observation, but that’s a field I know nothing about! lol... I do have some Mongoloid admixture according to my 23andMe results! Maybe I should get to know my ancestryThe use of the term Mongoloid means the conclusion in the ME's report was based on observation rather than through DNA. Mongoloid is used to describe people from Asia/Siberia/Pacific Islands and Native Americans with certain physical characteristics, like shovel-shaped teeth and shape of the eyes/folds in the corners of the eyes.
My brain must be with yours!Sorry for multiple posts. My brain is all over the place today, so I'm responding to various posts one at a time.
Some overall thoughts:
-Any additional articles info we find should be posted to the individual threads for each UID.
-To keep within TOS, I think articles posted need to include source and date.
-Might want to make a thread in the Serial Killer section for Harry Hale.
The song! Had not heard that in years...good soundtrack for this endeavor.
May the odds be ever in your favor!Interested. Page 1 here I come.
I think we figured out she’s more likely short. But that’s highlighted for clarification. ALL the UID that are bolded on the spreadsheet do not have threads on Websleuths... some of them (MANdible) I didn’t think would benefit from a thread ...maybe a combined thread for all the random bones? I’m not sure...whatever anyone wants to do with that. But that’s what the bolded rows are.I don't see a thread for UP57667

Need to get clarification on the height. The one person ruled out was 6' tall. Was this UID a short or tall woman?
Awesome job! Feeling overwhelmed so just going to grab a UID and run with it. if anything needs to be looked up, hunted down etc just let me know.
I didn’t catch that about the instep! I’ve been trying to find a match for George because I’m thinking he is in KY... I think this is a good possibility! George was excluded from one case that defied all logic, so I’m a lot untrusting of some of the vital stats.Forgive me if this has been posted. I did read but like I said, it's a lot of info.

Sounds good! I’m going to spend some time on the threads today... I’ll create ones for a few more, update rule outs (if any) that sort of thing! (Probably end up down a rabbit holeI might ask for more information on Rosine Doe's case (that is, if they can publicly release it!). I'm really curious about it now actually.
Also, just got home, so I'm going to get some more UID newspaper articles and then post on the threads.

- UP98 2002 Stanton (MANdible only)
- UP110 2003 Ballard County (some info, decent age range, height, but pretty long PMI - but it seems like we may could find more)

- UP59490 2019 Louisville (unknown everything)
Hahaha! You read my mind!I think we can keep them in the general thread for now--we've got so much else to work on for now. If we finish the ones we have lots of information on, we can bring these out.
Speaking of information--can you ask Amy if there are particular cases or areas of research she'd like to see us start with? I'm dithering around trying to read all of them and getting nowhere, spinning my wheels(Did somebody mention ADHD?)
I'm really curious about her too, so I made her a thread: KY - KY Rosine, Ohio County, UP57667, WF, Pre-50, found by hunters, Nov 2018I might ask for more information on Rosine Doe's case (that is, if they can publicly release it!). I'm really curious about it now actually.

Great idea to ask Amy if there are some specifics she'd like us to focus on. I've been spinning my wheels right down some deep rabbit holes.I think we can keep them in the general thread for now--we've got so much else to work on for now. If we finish the ones we have lots of information on, we can bring these out.

What do y'all think about creating a thread for these two? What do y’all think about these? Threads or no threads?? They’re the ones that don’t currently have threads but also don’t have much to go on...
