KY PROJECT KENTUCKY - Unidentified Persons Cold Cases

I wasn’t sure where to post this, so I figured here was as good as any...(FYI, I think Henry is our Waldo, UP87 1990 Owensboro, hands/feet cut off, severally beaten about the head and face.

KY - KY - Henry Richard Eubank Jr., 33, Louisville, 19 May 1988
**The Lighthouse , 1633 Beechwood Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204

was hand written in my brothers bible, his bible appeared in a family members mailbox, sometime after my brothers disappearance.

a little girls name and DOB of birth was written down in my brothers bible

Junior had the suicide hotline phone number in bible
Could this be connected to any of our babies???? Or what do y’all make of this?

Is there a way to leave a message for the sister inviting her to join WS?
I didn’t get that far...there are a few comments on the Find A Grave that are from family members and I checked Ancestry...a couple of public trees but nothing jumped out at me as being a relative actively searching...I literally “newspapers.com”ed myself to sleep :p

I was printing out some of the case reports and got to thinking (ouch) about a few random things...

There are a handful of UID who have living photos attached to their files (most are fairly recent-ish). I was looking through them and thought it might be worth circulating the photos locally - where? I have no clue LOL. If not to locate someone who recognizes our UIDs but possibly some of the other people in the photos with them. It’s a very long shot and would require some feet on the ground but I thought it’d be worth mentioning in case someone local might want to take on something. (I wouldn’t even know where or how to start! And I know we’re all busy IRL) I know the odds are low but it couldn’t hurt, I don’t think. JMO.... a few examples:

  1. KY - KY - Warren Co., Wht/HispMale UP8594, 18-99, in outhouse, LIVING photos, Sept'04
  2. KY - UID Aliases: Siscelia Nomore, Grace, Aisha, Zamika, & Denise, Blk. Fem, Morehead, KY, Nov. 15, 2018.
  3. KY - KY - Louisville, HispMale UP7293, 30-40, murdered, living photo, Dec'09
Another thing, does anyone know their way around a FOIA request?? I do but I’m wondering if filing one in some of these cases would get us any further? I guess I’ve never requested info on an UID so I don’t know what, if anything, we would be able to obtain. I have a few LE contacts in different states and I usually rely on them for obtainable info. Nothing outside of procedure but just not as official.

I’m just growing anxious with no response from Madame Amy. :( I can’t blame her and I’m just a little impatient so it doesn’t help matters. I don’t want to nag. Any thoughts?

Thank you once again to errry’body for helping out with everything!! :) Hope your weekends are great!

I was thinking about the "living photos" thing that you were discussing. Personally, I'm a bit skeptical in the cases of "Siscelia Nomore" and Bowling Green John Doe (2004), because it seems like they both were probably transients. If we could somehow get their photos published nationwide (or, in the case of BCJD2004, maybe in Central America as well), I think there's a shot that someone could recognize them and bring them home. For Louisville John Doe 2009, I do think there's a chance that if the photos are circulated in the area that someone could recognize him, as it seems that he was well-off enough to at least have an apartment and cellphone.

"Jose from Chicago," while not having a living photo, has a good shot at being recognized too if his photos are spread in the Chicago area. That's one that I'm hopeful could be resolved if people were to come forward in the Chicago area.

I've never done a FOIA request, so I can't help you there, unfortunately. I can't say I've never considered doing one, though! I'm guessing that for a UID case you might be able to get stuff like autopsy reports or maybe papers relating to fingerprint/DNA/dental checks.

I don’t get on FB very often, but I have seen “Siscelia Nomore”s photos shared quite a bit. I don’t know about the others. I guess it’s more far reaching than I thought. Especially considering at least one of them was murdered. Just wish there was something more we could do.

This caught my eye as I was searching for something else. Anyone have a knack for following up on these types of things??

Is anyone familiar with these cases? I was looking at Mitchel and thought of one of our UID, then realized Bonita matched one of our female UID. They’ve been missing from New York since July 1973.

Mitchel Fred Weiser (16 yo, 5’7”, 140 lbs.)
71978F05-CC05-498B-84F0-DF799057BC57.jpeg
UP14560 (18-22 yo, 5’7”, 150 lbs.)
- found May 1976 in Shepherdsville

Bonita Mara Bickwit (15 yo, 4’11”, 90 lbs.)
4D34E647-B172-4265-A027-F2E0A57EABAB.jpeg
UP6711, (13-15 yo, 5’2”, unknown weight)
- found April 1976 in Grant County

The UIDs were found within a month of one another and both probably murdered. I read Mitchel’s and Bonita
’s Charley Project pages and it sounds like they met with foul play. It’s unclear when and where exactly. I can’t tell and I’m not sure what kind of situation they would have encountered...probably a long shot but thought I’d mention it in case someone was familiar with the New York case. (JMOs FWIW)

I have followed the Bickwith/Weiser case, though not closely. I have always felt that they had planned to run away together after the concert and ran into trouble after they left.

There's a plausible route from NY to where the unidentified remains were found: خرائط ‪Google‬‏‏

I feel like the possible match to Mitchel is closer than Bonita's, but they certainly are plausible.

Thank you carbuff! I figured someone had to be familiar with them. I had never seen or heard of them. After reading what little I did, I think I agree with you in that they intended to run away but something happened shortly after. I don’t buy the story of them drowning though. Another one I didn’t want to dig too far into ;)

I wish better recons could be done on these two. Especially the female. I understand the circumstances involving the male being burned and his isn’t too bad, but given the relatively short amount of time they’d been dead (and the age of the cases), it’d be nice to see some new recons. IMO

I was just looking through NamUs and came across a recently posted 44 year old black male missing from Guy, Tennessee since 1994. I looked to see if he could fit any of our UID...not really. There are a couple of black males (found 1997 & 2000) but they don’t quite match. I wanted to leave his NamUs profile here just in case. There’s no photo either so I’m keeping an eye open for one of him...

ETA: links; one is too young and the other too short

For the too short one, if the other circumstances match, it can work.
Height have already been off after ID. Like 10in off Oo

Mind you, race being off has already been seen in IDs decedents!

Wow, just wow!!! What an amazing work. I applaud you :cool:, especially @MadMcGoo and @ClaireNC. Really Great! If there is anything I can do/search for (besides matches :) ) I'm happy to help.
Thank you BOH!! You truly are one of a kind!!

You can be the “liaison to the medical examiner”... cuz I give up!! :( I’m trying not to, but have become incredibly discouraged. I’m afraid to even suggest a possible match anymore.

Grant County John Doe is now a pending case with the DNA Doe Project!
This is their second case from Kentucky I believe.
HE IS?!?!?!?!?! OMG!!!!!!! That’s my... our... that’s JOHN W. COOLAID!!!!!!!! He’s our guy!! And first male to be in their list (currently)!!!! I’m so thrilled!!!

Don't give up MMG. I think you do wonderful. Maybe all of this is a little overwhelming and she has to take things in for a while, just like many of us, following this thread.:oops:Sorry....Should talk for myself....like me....
