I concur with the majority and believe that this motion probably has something to do with DC.
But as I was reading the various posts about the fact that keeping it from the defense might mean that it actually has something to do with the defense team made me think of Mort. He has definitely done some things that I don't think are above board. Trying to dig up dirt on RK by doing those very questionable video taped "interviews." Makes me wonder what else he might have been up to.
We don't know who JJ recorded when he was interviewed by the defense team, do we? Was it Baez? The SA could not listen to the tape because it was made without the other person's knowledge, but would that necessarily exclude LE from listening to it as well? I would think if they were investigating an offense, i.e the unlawful recording, they would listen to it. What if information was discovered during the "investigation" of this offense? Were Baez and Co giving JJ explicit instruction about what to say in reference to where he searched and what he saw?
