Psychic Ginnette Lucas claims she was on the phone with D. Casey while he searched

Both her and her father seem to be promoting that dowsing is some type of psychic event. It is NOT !!!

Dowsing is something almost every farmer can do and most people in the South know at least one dowser and most know how to do it themselves. I can do it. I use a forked fresh cut poplar tree branch or coat hangers. I don't believe it takes any special skills as everyone in my family has always been able to do it.

When a farmer needs to put down a new well, they dowse for the right place.

I have NEVER heard of "remote" dowsing as this woman claims, but just in case it was something known, I asked a couple of my family neighbors who are all well over 80 years old. NONE of them had ever heard of that. One did say he could always find good caves to explore with dowsing when he was a teenager, but nothing like that.

After a little physics I figured out that so called divining rods and all common dowsing devices, are the simplest forms of electroscopes. The bent rod for example is just a variation of Gilbert's straw needle electroscope. To discover the depth of a water stream underground some dowsers use a long rod, made of either iron or a fresh cut poplar pole. This pole is held by one end near the located underground stream, the other end of the rod is allowed to oscillate up and down directly over the stream. The number of oscillations are counted and this is the approximate number of feet below the earth where the water will be found.

There is NOTHING PSYCHIC about dowsing.

I posted about this previously, and I agree theres nothing psychic or magical about it. We actually dowse for specific rock deposits...and yes it works. I am glad you mentioned it Turbo !

Bold and Blue Above, Mine.
I have to repeat what several WS'ers have said here already...
Anyone with a Verizon account can log into Verizon dot com, click on "my account", punch in your password and have every single call and text listed in black and white, right on your own computer screen.

Verizon even makes it super easy to download or print off your bill or list of calls right to your printer.

Verizon even allows you to add or remove specific features from your cell phone ie; call waiting, unlimited texting, limit texting, etc.

Heck, I don't do texting on my cell but I can sure do it rather quickly from Verizon's site.
You punch in "Send a Text" and ta-da, you have a big box to send a text to any Verizon user's cell phone, right from your keyboard and computer screen (everyone thinks I'm just text really, really fast at texting. )

How do I know all this? I have 6 pages of printed text numbers from my Verizon site sitting just to the left of my computer screen right now. No, not mine. My daughters...on our cell phone! Grrrrrrr

If psychic says she tried calling Verizon herself for her records, the recorded message you get when you call Verizon will tell you that you can get online at Verizon dot com and see your statements, print your statement, change cell phone options and even upgrade to a new phone, right on line.

So if she/psychic uses the excuse she didn't know, but says she tried calling Verizon for her records, the recorded message would have told her how to go about getting her own records right from their site.

IIRC, she said the phone was in her dads name didnt she? (Thought I heard that on NG tues. night) Thats probably why she cant get access to her records. But then again, if shes 50 years old and obviously an adult, why wont her dad give her either the log in info to get the calls offline OR have her put on as a person who can call to inquire about the account.

I maybe could see not doing that if she was a teenager. I certainly wouldnt give my 17yo son that freedom....but for gods sake shes a 50 yo woman....:bang::rolleyes:

I wonder when she quit working as a private investigator?

Change of topic but I found this interesting, looks like it was written between 2002 and 2004

CONSUMER ALERT!

Virginia consumers need to know that many businesses and individuals advertising under Virginia telephone directory headings of “Investigator” and/or “Detective” are not licensed to provide or conduct private investigations in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

PIAVA was responsible for bringing the widespread problem of these violations to the attention of DCJS. As a result, DCJS has undertaken the painstaking process of working with the publishers of telephone directories to rectify this serious problem.

Consumers are urged to always verify a company’s DCJS license before contracting for investigative services. Verify License

Maybe we should call Verizon for her. We all pretty much have HER number. 1-800-HOOEY!

I don't know about anyone else, BUT, "IF" these calls did happen, and I couldn't get to the bottom of this "problem" with the calls not on the bill, I'd drive to Verizon headquarters myself to get those records so I could wave them in the face of EVERY newspaper and talk show. I'm still waiting for ANYTHING to happen....

AND, IF IF IF by chance the records are incorrect....ONE call missing, I might, in the realm of impossiblities, believe...BUT she said she was talking off and on with DC that day, several calls not on record is BS, plain and simple.

This was very interesting!!

Names a possible candidate for the fellow dowser intermediary, but only gives a first name and talks of GML's grilling on NG like NG was interviewing her because of her prowess. SPIN! And a lesson in how to parse words...Thanks.
Now we just need to go to PP and figure out who the heck E is.

Read list of services offered. There is a psychic on board. Could this be the connection to D. Casey? This could be Ginnette.

I thought this was rather interesting. Not sure if it's okay to post this link:

-------------------------------

Artlicles to refer to: the Orlando Sentinel, I used to be a private investigator and spoke to around 500 p.i.'s, in Orlando, Fl. - I encourage law enforcement and investigators to use dowsing as a tool to aid in finding missing persons. The Smithsonian Mag. writer, Jack Hope, tested several people, before writing the article on Dowsing, interviewing members at the American Society of Dowsers - St. Johnsburgy, VT, ... I was the only professional that located his missing paperwork and other additional paperwork, and he stated that in article Jan. issue, 1996.

--------------------------------

Worth repeating: She spoke to around 500 p.i.'s in Orlando, FL. Was Dominic Casey one of them?

Did I read on this thread that her agent in CA is from Orlando, FL?

Dominic Casey needs an explanation for who he was talking to on the phone on November 15th and this former P.I. with multiple links to Orlando suddenly appears to recount a dream that led her to call him on the phone that morning? But there are no phone records?

This blog entry was made on December 7th and she was touting her credentials and mentioning murder and missing persons cases she's worked on. Yet she makes no mention of having "consulted" with investigators on the Anthony case just three weeks before?

I'm confused. If she is just flat out lying, won't she get in trouble? Maybe I'm just a goody-two-shoes, but why would she flat out lie knowing she could get in trouble with LE? Other than publicity, I mean...obviously she's getting that. What could she be charged with?

Don't get me wrong...I think she's lying. Everyone and their brother that I know of can get their cell phone records. Until I see proof that she was on that phone with him at that time, I don't believe anything she says. I'm just wondering what happens to her when LE can confirm that she was NOT on the phone with DC during the search.

That's herself or her "manager" putting out a press release (dated today) touting her Nancy Grace interview. She is just out to make a name for herself. I googled "Chandra Levy Ginette Lucas" and nothing came up. Surprise, surprise.

She was more interested in name dropping on Nancy Grace that talking about what she said, what she saw...she's a fake who scams people out of money just like GJS.

Same here. Some kind of nerve, huh? This is why I pray that every single person who's lied in this case gets charges against them. Every. Single. One. Because this has to stop.

Unless she lies under oath while being interviewed by LE or on the stand. I don't think she can be charged with a thing.

Of course she never actually claimed to be on the phone with him at the EXACT moment we see DC tramping and slashing his way through the woods and saying "It should be right here", according to KB's account.

So perhaps this could get her off the hook, technically. Because LE might not care if she was or wasn't on the phone with DC any other time. Very tricky. I DON'T KNOW WHY no one who's interviewed her hasn't asked that question. That's the point in time that really matters enough to charge her with lying. Grrrr...
