Psychic Ginnette Lucas claims she was on the phone with D. Casey while he searched

  • #541
I talked to an Orange County deputy today. According to him, YES, she could face charges for lying to investigators if it is shown that her lies were detrimental to the case. I'm sure that would get into a whole lot of time issues, etc, but she stated, regardless of the specific time she said it was, that it was HER that DC was on the phone with during the videotaped search. If that proves to be a lie, and if it is deemed to be a lie that was detrimental to the case, then the police would be able to file charges against her (according to this deputy). He stated that lying to investigators and lying under oath were both things that could bring charges, but the charges would be different (we didn't get into statutes, etc).

HTH!

IMO Ginnette dreamed she called DC!

That's herself or her "manager" putting out a press release (dated today) touting her Nancy Grace interview. She is just out to make a name for herself. I googled "Chandra Levy Ginette Lucas" and nothing came up. Surprise, surprise.

She was more interested in name dropping on Nancy Grace that talking about what she said, what she saw...she's a fake who scams people out of money just like GJS.

jmo

Yeah, she really cracked the Chandra Levy case with her psychic skills. Chandra's remains were found a year later by a man walking his dog. WTH? That woman is either delusional or has a pair of solid brass ones even trying to suggest she was helpful to that that case.

hmm.. Matacia taught dowsing techniques in vietnam era, but, according to the previously linked thread, the techniques weren't actually used; so yes, he was commissioned, but, no, his skills weren't used.

i can't a reference yet on google to see if he was in the military, but still looking.

here's a weird article on Matacia http://www.opm.bz/articles/m/matacialouis/

Okay - here is my "now" opinion. After reading all these articles and the different quotes from DC and the psychic, I believe she is somehow connected to KFN. It appears the old man is some kind of shishter and has incorporated his daughter into his antics. I find NOTHING either of them have done which is verifiable. Everything that is claimed on the website when looked up does not compute.

I believe KFN, DC or the Anthonys know these people and have enlisted her help in clearing DC, which failed miserably because they got caught up in the different stories they told.

She LED the DOG to the spot by her "remote dowsing" abilities. LOLO

What a fraud!!

We can only hope !! DC gave a statement under oath which is much more serious and I hope they tear apart every lie all of hem told and trace back all their connections in the case.

I loved this little nugget from their site about the psychic grandchildren:

---------------------------
He succeeds in his projects and theories, and in picking qualified staff who he teaches, encourages and allows to stand on their own. Some of Louis' success is not only Ginette, but his psychic grandchildren: Anna and Izzi.
---------------------------

It's the family business. Generational shysters.

marellano,

Can you tell us if you were talking hypothetically to the deputy, or was he confirming that they've already talked to her and are investigating this angle?

And may we assume you talked to him about the abandoned house (I hope!)?

Pictures where Caylee found show items psychic saw

COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A psychic in Virginia told private investigator Dominic Casey to search the woods near the Anthony family home back in November, a month before Caylee's body was discovered. George and Cindy Anthony’s' attorney gave the pictures to FOX 35’s Holly Bristow with permission from the family.

The agreement with the Anthony’s lawyer allowed FOX 35 to only show the photos in our Wednesday January 15, 2009 evening and night newscasts and not online at this time.

Deputies, the FBI and prosecutors have seen them already. The Anthony’s private investigator Dominic Casey took them the morning of November 15, 2008, five months to the day anyone had last seen Caylee and weeks before a meter reader found her remains. Shortly after he took them, a psychic called the PI saying she knew where Caylee Marie was.

Shaky home video shows the Anthony’s private investigator rummaging through this wooded area on suburban drive around the corner from the Anthony family home.

For what it's worth, the psychic had a PI license that expired in or around October 26, 1996.

Difficult to find info on this person--various spellings of first name, with one n or two n's.

Not really trying to check credentials, but very interested in associates such as the "Ellen" mentioned in the link provided by Mysteriew above.

My guess is that they haven't got their stories quite straight, because neither of them appear credible to me. D. Casey is very deliberately poking around near the crime scene while talking on the phone a month before the remains are found. Everyone wants to know who he is talking to. First it was his sick daughter, and now it's a former PI with previous ties to PIs in Orlando who just happens to have a dream and called him early that morning. But she can't produce her phone records. Nothing about it passes the smell test, IMO.

As for whether she can be charged, unless and until she repeats this nonsense to authorities, I doubt she can be charged with anything.

Welcome to WS!

I think the psychic did speak to LE, at least briefly before she appeared on NG. I suspect they have talked to her more since then and hopefully she will be charged...if she's done something wrong, I sure hope they do charge her, because otherwise other vulnerable, desperate people with missing loved ones will be throwing money at her, and I'd like to see the public protected from that.

IMO, if they were telling the truth, they would have been faxing proof of those phone calls to every media outlet in the country to back up their claims.

My wish is that EVERY PERSON that LIED about anything in this MURDER CASE pays for the lies!!! Either jail time, community service. IT IS NOT RIGHT TO LIE TO LE!!!
miscontrue...yeah right....IMO

So, now he took the photos before the psychic called him?? And presumably they are admitting to withholding relevant evidence by not sharing those pics before they were forced to. And, why are they providing them to the press? Don't they have better things to do with their time, like maybe find a job or something?

I wonder if they executed search warrants at DC's home & office? I feel like the press have dropped the ball a bit down there.

I agree. someone with KFN has ties to perhaps a local psychic, or someone in the A camp spent money on online psychic tarot readings...

Thanks for the welcome and the info that LE is onto this charade. I now see the Anthonys are involved in spinning the story with the photos, but won't allow them to be posted online. Fascinating.

Welcome, Z-sleuth. I agree. This case is fascinating.

Yes it is fascinating! I suppose they lose their value once they are on-line.

I think they want to spin to the public that is still gullible enough to give them money. That wouldn't include online sleuths, who might find something in the pics that doesn't add up. ;)

"This case has grown into a cottage industry for exploiters, opportunists and scammers" says Sheaffer.

Boy have you got that right Mr. Sheaffer. A bunch of sad, pathetic excuses for human beings..
