Python Stalked, Ate Family Dog In Front Of Children

  • #41
That's terrible, why were the children close enough to the snake to witness this, and why didn't the family call for help about it right away? They will easily eat a small child as well as dogs or other pets....

Hindsight is 20/20, of course. But all kidding aside, as someone who was raised in the swamps of South Florida, I can say from personal experience that one tends to get used to the snakes.

You either get use to them or get a gun. I to scared to get close to them with a hoe.

Wth is wrong with those people?
Like the snake isn't going to strike the baby because she's a baby?

If I saw a snake, it does not really matter if it was 16 inches or 16 feet, Cyberlaw would be on the floor and a) fainted out of fright and shock or b) having a massive heart attack

If I visited Australia, a) I probably would never leave the hotel due to fear or b) learn to "have a great time, let down my guard and then have a heart attack when I see something like a 16 foot python snake.

Or better luck: In the papers reporting my "freak" death, the paper will probably say something like: We have never had a death related to this animal, we usually never see them, but for some odd reason, the animal or insect or whatever "stalked" and targeted this Canadian tourist. This has never happened in the entire history of Australia and has animal experts baffled.

BTW, ditto for Florida.

Our sympathy to her husband and three kids......

It would be option "b" for me CyberLaw! I am scared carpless of snakes. And I live in S. Arkansas where there are a lot of poisonous snakes. I know that the copperheads and cottonmouths hold weekly meetings on how to scare me to death! Trust me, I know they have these meetings! They are plotting my eventual death due to being scared to death from seeing a snake up close and personal!

Arma, that was too funny! I got a good chuckle out of that.

CyberLaw thanks for the big belly laugh this morning, I needed it!
