*~* Questions for our locals *~*

  • #601
In the Sauvie Island timeline thread, we're now working on seeing if the period of time after Terri went to the gym would work for her to have gone to Sauvie.

It may work if she could have posted the pics to Facebook, and emailed the teacher and Desiree from her laptop using Wifi while on Sauvie, or while between Sauvie and home on Sheltered Nook.

So, my question for locals is, is there Wifi available on Sauvie, or between Sauvie and Sheltered Nook?

TIA

Here's a link to the Sauvie timeline thread:

They are scheduled for tomorrow, not today. Ask again in 24 hours!

Locals ----who owns the saw mill at the southern most tip of sauvie Island?

Fargo came to mind about day 20 in this case for me...many landscape companies recycle their waste at wood yards.

To our wonderful locals:

What type of building structures/businesses are in this central SI area? TIA!

SI is mostly farmland or wildlife refuge, with some picnic/recreation areas along the beach. There is a school and a church, and a couple stores that sell farm fresh produce and some convenience foods. There is at least one small restaurant, maybe another. Otherwise, it is pretty much farm houses, and outbuildings--stables, barns, sheds, etc.

Thanks, gwenabob. It's these storage places that intrigue me.

Well, they are all on private property, and it seems logical to me that residents of SI would have all searched their property thoroughly in light of the searches all summer long. But hey, you never know!

The blue thing that looks like a barrel laying on it's side next to the structure with the blue roof that looks like it's on a dock ?

I think it is another, smaller blue roof--it looks too big to be a rain barrel to me, if we are seeing the same thing...but a local will know more...

Not sure what you are suggesting here. Either way, it seems a body would be discovered.
