Could you please place a link to the source of information (for an opening thread required to be MSM news article LE report or NaMus listing, etc). Thank you! I did check and there aren't any other threads created for her yet from when she went missing..

I know just a possible scenario. I want to keep the little evidence we have togther. We don't have alot of information about this women she wasn't a online person.

Did they release where they found the vehicle?
All I can find on the vehicle is this:
RCMP said officers have also recovered her vehicle and are looking for any information on sightings of it between June 13 and 18. Police describe the vehicle as a red 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer with New Brunswick licence plater NGP 892.

Rachelle was very pretty.

interesting that they waited a little while to do a press release

One note on the classification of "suspicious death" It does NOT necesarily mean a crime was involved.

If the cause of death isn't obvious, law enforcement and the medical examiner will first gather all the facts needed to determine whether a person’s death was due to natural causes, an accident, suicide, or a homicide. Until then, a death is deemed suspicious. If a person does not have any prior medical history that creates a clear connection to the cause of death or manner of death, LE and the medical exminaer may determine a person’s death suspicious. If the deceased person has injuries or trauma inconsistent with the reported cause of death or that are otherwise are not easily explained - that too may result in the death being deemed suspicious (for example, a person who has blunt-force trauma found in an automobile that has no damage from any accident).

A suspicious death investigation might also be warranted if forensics identify the presence of drugs, poisons, or other toxic substances in the body that might have contributed to the death, especially if the individual was not a known drug user.

@GraceG and everyone has contributed alot to this thread,
Thank you everyone for pulling together these early details. Since there isn’t much public information yet, it’s worth keeping a few things in mind while waiting for the autopsy.

LET'S ESTABLISH FACTS FIRST:

  • Timeline:
    • Last seen: June 13
    • Reported missing: June 15 (morning)
    • Body located: June 15 (evening), Saint John River in Medford
    • Vehicle recovered (location not yet released): 2022 Red Chevrolet Trailblazer (NB plate NGP 892)
    • LE seeking sightings of vehicle from June 13-18
  • Personal Circumstances:
    • Obituary mentions husband and 3 children
    • FB status lists "single" (though as others noted, many people don't keep FB status current)
    • Obit requests donations to mental health charities
    • Some social media posts suggest recent personal difficulties
  • LE’s language:
    • Declared "suspicious death" but no confirmed cause or manner yet
    • As GraceG rightly explains, “suspicious” simply means cause/manner unclear at this stage — not necessarily foul play.
  • Possibilities (speculation only at this point):
    • Accident
    • Suicide
    • Foul play (domestic, third-party, or otherwise)

The vehicle’s recovery location may become a very important detail. Whether it was found near the river, abandoned elsewhere, or showing any signs of struggle could help clarify what happened between June 13-15. Given the quick recovery after she was reported missing, LE may already have substantial info but are being cautious while waiting on ME results.

Very tragic situation. Hoping the family receives quick and accurate answers.
