Ramsey Investigation may go back to police

Never give up.

At the risk of my opinion being attacked and ripped apart, I am going to state it anyway.

I believe that the Ramsey's are/were 100% innocent and that the REAL SOB who perpetrated this disgusting crime will never be found out so that he can pay for his crime. Not in THIS lifetime anyway.

***backing out of thread***
Why back out of the thread so soon? If you so strongly believe the Ramseys are innocent, imo you should tell the posters what your belief is based on.

Rashomon is right. All good dialogues benefit from differing points of view. While it may not always change someone's mind, it's good to see where we are each coming from. No one gets ripped apart here.

Since when were we allowed to "attack and rip apart" any poster here?!

I know that we can help educate those that believe that the Ramseys are what they say they are, but that's not an attack!

Hit and run isn't any real help. Some ideas should be behind them. I've come up with some "out there" ideas on this board but I still maintain they are possibilities.

There are a lot of people who believe the Ramsey's are innocent.

Having spent most of the night refreshing my memory on this case, I was struck by the chilling similarity in the actions of J and P Ramsey to those of the Anthonys...as per their insistance that LE conform to their wishes and demands...refusal to cooperate in the manner that most citizens would be compelled to do. I was reading the resignation letter of detective ST when the quote " Politics seemed to trump justice" got lodged in my brain. I believe this is true all too often, and sadly, murderers walk away free and victims remain victims forever.

..somehow I wonder if LE is being set up,if the case does go back to them.

If DA Hunter wasn't in the Ramsey's pocket and left this with LE and the FBI, it would be over with a conviction or two.

Are you ready for another 12 years, Sparksters?!

Why don't people want it to go to LE...don't most cases go to them??? If they get it you know there will be an indictment....

Looks as though Candy and Mame are doing a lot of voting.

Thanks for the link! Maybe now they will go through that "warehouse full of evidence, that hasn't been looked at yet", that was talked about on the show "48 Hours".
we can only hope ! ..crossing fingers and saying lots of prayers..

You mean they could be scapegoated again?
well,I feel a bit better since I had a chance to read it.but whether anything more actually can be done, remains to be seen...

I think it's because they screwed up so badly last time.

Certain cops screwed up.......had Steve Thomas not been assigned to the case, it would have been a slam-dunk for the Rams 12 years ago.

This is just my opinion only..please dont attack me for this..lol but.... as far as just the handwriting example only.. that cannot be the smoking gun to say the parents or mother had any involvement..its not anyway the same as say dna or a fingerprint. I only say that because most people have unique handwriting and the majority cannot duplicate anothers but.. i myself , my sister and my mother all have identical handwriting..and when we were filling out a loan application years ago, the agent had the identical hand writing as I did as well. So I dont buy that the similarities of certain letters is the smoking gun of the mothers involvement. Just my opion only folks.

If only it was the HandWriting.......:(

I've gotta agree with exhuming JB's remains and giving them to a respected agency for re-examination. I've followed this case for 12-years and although I think there are some brilliant, if not imaginitive, theories of an intruder, in 12 years I have seen nothing that eliminates the family whatsoever. What a travesty it was to hear Tracy exonerate the Ramsey family. Everytime I hear that someone has been named, or someone has confessed, or there is DNA excluding the family,,,it has made me think "whooa was I wrong or what?" but then the info turns out to be bogus.

Hey, we're all friends here, right?

but.... as far as just the handwriting example only.. that cannot be the smoking gun to say the parents or mother had any involvement..its not anyway the same as say dna or a fingerprint.

I get you, doubletrouble. You're right, to a point: it isn't an exact science.

No sweat. But Riverrat is right: it isn't just the similarity of certain letters. It's the way they're put together.
