MOO Maybe it was more of a "shlt" I been caught reaction than the normal devestating "omg my poor baby is dead"
and I agree with you.
Regarding the text I bolded:
I think there's a good chance this will be admitted. KC told LE that she was looking in bars for information regarding her daughter's whereabouts. To me, this makes pictures of her doing just that very relevant. The jury can decide if she appears to be looking for her missing child.
You left out quite a bit of evidence that shows consciousness of guilt on KC's part. I think this will play an important part in her trial. I'd rather compare KC's trial to SP than to Cindy S.
Give me tons of circumstantial evidence, like there is in this case, and I'll take it any day over one piece of direct evidence.BBM: Circumstantial since they can not prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that KC was the ONLY person with access to the car/trunk. Family members, friends, & potentially lovers all could have accessed the trunk of that car. It IS possible.
For the life of me I can not understand why everyone thinks KCs reaction the the "found body" news is sooo damning? Either way, it is still a valid reaction.
She COULD be the mother of an abducted child who was killed right away and is hearing that there has been a body ,possibly, her child's body found ridiculously close to her home. I'd ask for a Xanax too! Why does everyone beleive that just because she was upset, it's becuase she's "been caught". It could have just been "Oh, NO! The've killed her!"
I've also wondered if the guy in California told KC not to come,or told her to come later. He was military and couldn't just accomidate her timing. He may have had a girlfriend.Who knows.
This case has so many twists and turns it couldn't be written as one book.It would take volumes 1-10 to fit it all in.
Thank goodness it's still reasonable to conclude that in all likelihood this is not a mere coincidence.[/QUOTE]
BBM:
And still even IF they are the exact same items from the A's home, there are more people with access to these items then just KC. GA, CA, LA, and anyone with a secret set of keys. Neighbors who may have had keys for trips or emergancies, any key left outside like a fake rock key holder. Ect
ALL of these were taken into account during the JBR investigation. You can believe JB will also be using it to create reasonable doubt.
You can believe what you like about JB, but with all due respect the poor man can't put two sentences together without stumbling all over his words. If he believes he is going to fabricate a story which is not factual, good luck with that. He can't get the truth out without sounding like a fairy tale.
I also think she wasn't comfortable out of her small activity zone.
She didn't even take short trips, or go out of town, for the day.
It was the A's home, the bf du jour's home, the clubs and the Target. That's it.
Just curious...will the State be able to use the first psych eval.? Could that then lead to her "state of mind" at the time of her daughter's disappearance?
No...I mean could they then bring in her behavior...like partying? I'm thinking the initial evaluation may very well state she was detached.I would think not because after all Caylee had been missing 31 days already!
Maybe it is because the one who made the decision that the public should not view it was the Judge and I believe he is the one that said the tape was too inflamatory. And, of course there is the fact that when there was a report that small bones were found in the JBPark KC had no reaction. Since she told her brother the abduction REALLY happened at JBPark you would think that would have gotten some type of a reaction.....nothing, nothing, just returned to her cell with no reaction whatsoever. That leaves people to believe that only the killer would know for sure the body was that of Caylee.
Ok...POTD...I figured out in an aha moment...what's bbm? Sorry, it's killing me!BBM.
And because Casey tried to explain away that behavior by tying it to the case the state will be able to present evidence that Casey never actually asked anyone for help, never mentioned her daughter was missing, never asked about a Zenaida etc.
She cooked her own goose there. If she had admitted early on that she had gone partying to cope with her stress over her missing daughter then all people could do with that incident would be to shake their heads and disapprove. Most people wouldn't cope that way but you can't say that no one would. You can however prove that her own statements about her motivation for being in bars and at Target etc. were false.

Wow...great first post...and WELCOME!!Hello WS! I am brand new to posting, although I've been following the case since July and reading here for months. I think I have finally worked up the nerve to post. (Don't get me wrong. It's not you, it's me. You're all light years ahead of me in sleuthing. And it seems similar to that feeling when I wanted to jump in on the playground and take my turn in the jump rope, but I was afraid I'd trip! LOL) I've so enjoyed your posts, insights, and all the work you have done.
Anyway, in reference to LambChop's post I snipped for space.......I agree with you. The time for a panic attack was when KC couldn't locate "Zanny" and Caylee and the hours, days, and weeks ticked by. No panic then. Just party hearty, shop, bang, and bop. I can't imagine a jury seeing that jail video and not asking the obvious question---Where was all this panic, emotion, and hysteria during the 31 days you were "trying to find her" on your own? Friends who saw her during that period have stated KC was fine and the procession of them during the trial testifying to that will sink her as will so much of the other evidence. And testimony about her non reaction re: JB Park and the "find" there vs. the discovery on 12/11 will be obvious to a jury, just as it has been obvious to us.
OK. Hope I quoted and snipped correctly.![]()
I heard something interesting regarding this...someone on TV (lawyer from FL, I believe) stated that since the state waited past the 45 days to reinstate the DP, they will not be afforded the opportunity to put up psych experts in some part of the trial, maybe the sentencing phase ? I didn't understand the explanation that well, maybe someone on here knows different ?Just curious...will the State be able to use the first psych eval.? Could that then lead to her "state of mind" at the time of her daughter's disappearance?

Mama...you are too much (in a very good way! LOL).You are probably right about the bolded part---with 6 different motions right in a row. JB couldn't pour pee-pee outta a boot. She really needs to fire him. Once the jury sees how JB handles himself they will stop listening to him.
