I am very frustrated with Cindy saying Tim and his search is a waste of time, and the fact she says she knows more than we do but then she says KC wasn't allowed to talk to them about it. Another thing she says Caylee is alive but yet she searched her yard for a body prior to calling LE

I am so sad right now. After watching NG tonight, I am torn. I have tried to not be judgemental towards the Anthonys. I have never been in their place (and pray to never be!) Tim Miller seemed so defeated! All CA has accomplished is to sway people away from helping to find Caylee. Is she truly in that much denial or does she know something about what really happened and is trying to save Casey?

You would think one would want all avenues searched. If that means people search for Caylee as being deceased, why not appease people and ask for their support in that regard. If Caylee is not found in the "swamps and woods", then that should give her more determination that Caylee is alive. But only going for the fact that Caylee is alive and someone has her will, unfortunately, lead her to never being able to put Caylee at rest.

I don't know the info she has or LE has. I do believe LE has info they have been putting out there because they know what happened and are trying to find that precious child to cinch the case. Who knows, maybe by some miracle, (they have been known to happen) Caylee is alive.

I hope the trial will be able to prove conclusively that little Caylee has, in deed, gone to her Heavenly Father so all of us so emotionally involved can at least get some peace. Chasing after every child who resembles Caylee, and that number is to numerous to fathom, is not the only way to find Caylee.

May God be with everyone and bring Caylee back very soon, alive or in body only.

Me too. Again, this is supposedly a thread where we can let out our feelings and rants, and I have to say one reason I'm so diappointed isn't exactly the lack of a general thread (though I do think they served an important function), but the outright anger at us because we do not/can not search literally thousands and thousands of posts to find out if it's been answered. It's so much easier to have a general thread, where at least a question can be answered by a link or just a quick response.

Also, on the last thread that was marked, and the questions afterward, I felt that we were ignored and treated like we were troublemakers... When honestly, we weren't ignoring the rules because we're stupid or because we're trolls, but rather that no clear explanation was EVER given. First of all it was the name-calling and insults that were curtailed (and thank goodness). The general thread was graced with a large-lettered post expressing frustration and I considered it an insult (though I am certain it was not meant to be--just saying waht it felt like). After that, we were locked up and told that we can only post to the appropriate topic posts already started.


Having said this, I will still respect the rules of the board. Like I tell my daughter all the time--I can agree to obey, but I don't have to like it!

This is directed to *some* newbies, not all of you! I myself, am a semi-newbie, but I have been here long enough to know which end is up.

I want to rant about the general attitude of some posters toward others on this topic of Caylee/Casey/Anthonys etc. In particular, I am referring to the possible sighting of Caylee in TX thread.


Barb (Peacedawg) has been a dedicated member of Websleuths for awhile now. Tricia is our faithful leader. While I realize that it is ok to disagree with others here, and is a healthy form of discussion on a topic to disagree and consider all angles, I think it is extremely OUT OF LINE the way some people have "talked" to Barb and Trish. One poster pretty much called Barb a liar, when Barb very clearly stated that she had talked to Tim directly herself. I have seen similar attitude on other threads here, including toward a moderator a few weeks ago(Christine). That is rude, disrepectful, and is not the climate in which Websleuths has thrived. Perhaps I am alittle protective because many of the people being attacked are veterans, people who have put hours, monthes, years into dedicating their free time to find missing and unidentified people. People who have earned their stripes here, and have earned the respect to not be second-guessed, called (indirectly) liars, and talked rudely to. I know you don't know Barb/Trish/Christine et al but have alittle more respect, if you want to earn that respect in return. Take the time to look at other cases, not just Caylees, find out how many other deserving people need our help. Meet some of the REAL families who are missing children, family members, loved ones. Learn more about the regulars here who have put in a tremendous amount of time and heart into finding answers. You will gain some respect for the people who are here, working not just Caylees case, but the many other deserving cases here. Learn who Tim (EQ) is, how his own tragedy propelled him to help others, and how wonderful he has been on so many cases. Understand that this is not a gossip site, a fly-by-night group. We are here not just for this case, but for the many that have come before and will come after this case. If you want to be a part of this, learn to get along with others and have a healthy discussion, not attack others. You know that old saying, "think before you speak"? In this case, "think before you type." :blowkiss:

I came to this site in Aug because Websleuth to me means to go and sleuth and find info and see if it can be proven. I have not posted very much, but from what I see here and every where you never know who is posting or if what is posted is correct. So I can only say if info is in cyber space there should be a place for it.

I'm ranting because i'm tired of the bullcrap the anthony's continue to feed the media and then beeach about it when they don't get their way. I just wish the LE would darn well just end all this circus and be done with this little twit. I was very happy after SP was convicted of Laci & baby's death and I never saw his face again on the media. Good riddens Casey, I could care less what happens to you once you're put away for life!

being still quite new here, I for one do not have all the information in front of me nor do I keep track of links. don't have the time. however I do have opinions about this case and there are kind people here at WS who nicely correct me when I am in error and I don't mind be corrected.

I can still post an opinion and if someone wants to take it as FACT even after I state IMHO - not my problem.

There are 2 people (and then a few stragglers) that caused this case to get so twisted - Casey Anthony and Cindy Anthony. If Casey had told LE the truth we would not be here now. If Cindy Anthony kept her face off of tv we wouldn't be here now. The latter needs to learn a lesson from the mother
of David Westerfield. You can remain by your wicked child's side and remain
silent. Let law enforcement do their job.

My opinions don't have to be supported by anything except for my thought process. Same goes for everyone here- everyone anywhere for that matter.

What you are speaking of are things people are stating as fact when in fact they are only the persons opinion. In that case, I agree with you completely... If you are stating it as fact, back it up.

I think it's important that everyone keep in mind that WS is an opinion board and much of what we do here is discuss our opinions as well as known facts.
