Rants and Random Ideas ABOUT THE CASE thread #3

Good post. The Anthonys are struggling to deal with something that is unbearably painful, something I hope no one here ever has to deal with. Are they making mistakes? Sure, but they are also grieving and under a lot of stress and pressure. It disturbs me greatly that people have absolutely no compassion or understanding of their pain. Those poor grandparents, they have lost their granddaughter whom they loved very much at the hands of their daughter whom they loved very much. Their lives have been destroyed and they will never know happiness again. I'm so sick of hearing, "I would have sympathy for them except (fill in the blank)." What's wrong with having sympathy for them inspite of (fill in the blank). Their actions are being guided by their pain and fear, why can't people see that?
Because they know their granddaughter is dead, and instead of seeking justice and a proper burial for her, they're covering for their lying daughter instead. Lionel Dahmer and Mark Hacking's father I have compassion for, they didn't cover for their sons' crimes!

I totally agree with you, did that mean they did not love their sons, no. It means they are reasonable people who deserve our compassion and did not just sit back and enable the situation.

Here, Here! Well said you two. Where DID all the normal people go, anyway?:waitasec:

Why does this bother you? She is hurting. Maybe she didn't want to face it at that time. Can anyone on these posts honestly say how they would react if they were in the A's shoes. Come on. No one knows unless they have gone through this and I pray no one has here. JMO.

Yes, I can honestly say that if I were in that situation, that is NOT how I would have reacted. I would have turned my daughter and any evidence over to authorities, not tried to tamper with evidence, and my daughter would remain in jail, not in the comforts of my house baking brownies, getting on myspace, and high-fiving!

I can honestly say the same, LinasK. This is not a stranger that is dead, this is their GRANDDAUGHTER. IMO, it's a disgrace that they would rather protect Casey as they apparently have always done, than stand up for Caylee. I have felt sorry for them in the past, but no more. The Very Last thing that they can EVER do for Caylee is to see that her killer is brought to justice and it appears that they are doing everything they can to make sure that doesn't happen! It's like a slap in the face to this dead baby. :furious:

Pondering Mind you said it. IMO it's wicked and warped that they are NOT reacting in a normal or usual way to the fact that their spoiled daughter has killed their only precious granddaughter. Warped beyond my comprehension. This is whole sordid ordeal is going to be burned in our memories forever because of their lies and determination to protect their "sweetheart".....the killer sweetheart.:bang:

There may be some things you can not say you would do or not do, but this is not one of them. I love my kids dearly and yes this would kill me, but would I loose all rationality in the name of unconditional love, or so called loyalty, NO, I can say I would not. Unconditional love does not mean there are no consequences to the actions of those you love, if you truly love then you know this.

I would have sympathy for Cindy if she couldnt bring herself to believe Caylee was dead, but cooperated with police. She withheld info, she destroyed evidence, she has lied, and the big big one to me is she refused to give TES anything with Caylee scent on it for the dogs to use to track.

I agree, I think everything she has done has been done to protect Casey. Basically, I don't think anything she has done has been done for Caylee

This reminds me of people who have said they received calls from people after they have "passed". Strange I know.

No more strange than the guy who died on impact in the train wreck in LA recently and his phone dialed each of his family members' numbers for the next several hours up until the time he was found in the wreckage. They never found the phone and could not account for why it happened.

This is O/T sort of and may get deleted by the mods, but its amazing what things can happen........My friends friend died of a heart attack a few years back, and when he was visiting her he always stayed in this one hotel near where she lived, and a couple week after he passed away she came home to find that number on her caller ID a couple times, and could never figure it out.....it was like he was calling from the grave......very chilling! To this day I think she still has it saved somehow, because its very comforting to her, like a "sign"

Is there anyone on the forum here that has a membership to Ancestry.com???

They have a stake in keeping this kidnapping story going themselves. They are collecting money to "SEARCH" for her.

Keep in mind these same people were about to have their house foreclosed on in the bond hearing and had numerous lawsuits over unpaid bills and all of a sudden now they don't even have to work.

This is not about Caylee for anyone in this family.

They also became VERY hostile to TES after Tim said he was going to check their back yard again. Not to mention they IMMEDIATELY limed their yard.
(good to keep decomp scent down for the dogs)

:clap:Isn't it just about the saddest statement to this case that this innocent child is worth more financially to the family as "missing", than she would be alive or deceased?

<<snipped>>Unconditional love does not mean there are no consequences to the actions of those you love, if you truly love then you know this.

Wow, indicat, that's one of the greatest explanations I've read. I struggle sometimes to express myself. Thanks for doing it for me!

I just want to rant that I haven't ranted about anything ever.

Being a Scorpio with ADD, I have the insatiable drive to dig deep into 80 topics at once, and they all make sense to me. Scary.
