Gee, he's not too full of himself, is he! *rolling my eyes*
All BC's talk about being "Far From Finished", and now his nauseating talk about his own gifts reminds me of the days when Charlie Sheen was crashing and burning, and all he could talk about was "Winning".

I'm starting to wonder if he truly believed he was bestowing on his victims some of his "gift." Ick.
Lena Dunham (writer/performer) was, IMO, insensitive and way of the mark recently while discussing BC during an interview to promote her show.

Just now saw some news about this. I have very little idea who this Lena Dunham person is. For the most part I don't keep up with current pop culture. Her analogy was horrifically inappropriate. I am not defending it. Still, I think I understand the point she was trying to make: A lot of people knew what was happening to the Jews. Yet looked the other way. A lot of people knew what Bill Cosby was up to. Yet looked the other way. It's not even in the ballpark of comparing apples to oranges; it's more like comparing apples to, I don't know, flax seeds? I acknowledge that. Yet I think her point was that the underlying dynamic is the same despite the difference in magnitude of the crimes: People knew, and yet they looked the other way.

Hi IzzyB.
Your eloquent interpretation of LD's remarks was very generous towards LD.
Way, way more than I was.
I started at overprivileged, self-absorbed, unaware publicity hound, and my list of impressions just went down from there.
LD is a writer and performer, and, while I'm not a fan, I was never going to be included in her demographic and her work was never supposed to be particularly liked by me. LD's work is appreciated by her large fanbase, and she has already achieved great financial gains and received awards for her TV series.
The review of LD's book led with a sentence that expresses my view,
[

then continues as the article explains LD's significance to her generation.
Thanks for sharing your take on the meaning behind her comments.

At least he stays neutral, doesn't call victims liars.

Patrons requested refunds for 1,200 of the 3,100 tickets sold — or 38.7 percent, Rice told the City Council this week.
The Buell Theatre holds 2,884 people per show, so Cosby's two comedy sets could have accommodated a total of 5,768.
In other words, Cosby's shows reached only 33 percent of their potential patrons. Ticket-seller Ticketmaster said it has been forwarding refund requests to show promoter AEG Live Rocky Mountains, which has promised they will be fulfilled despite complaints of delays.
