Hufnagel seems like a potentially unreliable source so take it FWIW:

According to the latest accusations the comedian reportedly used wife Camille Cosby and a mistress to obtain prescriptions for Quaaludes from a gynaecologist in Beverly Hills, Dr Macyln Wade who was the former head of obstetrics and gynaecology at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.

Wasn't it Lou Ferrigno's wife (not married at time) who was at the BC home with Camille present, and then all of a sudden she found herself alone with BC, and Camille was no where to be found when he attempted his assault.

I want to know where the recent victims are. I can't believe he just stopped, so where are they?

He's up there in age, so could be natural slowing down, but I bet he has bowls of viagra everywhere...

Just wondering if Allred has a screening process for the accusers who contact her. Does she investigate details of their stories? Do they take polygraphs?

If she doesn't, which I'm sure she does because she's pretty smart, then I'm quite certain Cosby's lawyers have! Anyone hear anything from them claiming these women weren't where they said they were, etc.?

Before Quaaludes, he used to use some drug called Spanish Fly, that you put into drinks. I guess it works like GHB or Roofies.

I think he only admitted to benedryl and quaaludes- but one woman who he tried to offer drugs to (on a beach, I seem to recall) said he had a whole case of different pills. Likely other barbiturates (downers) to get that drunken effect he enjoyed. Maybe rophies if they were around. Spanish Fly was actually a folkloric or mythical concoction, and I think the closest thing he could find with similar effects would be the quaaludes.

Allred is BIG time, and she's not going to be mocked. I'm sure she has
put together a huge team to see this through. I really believe she's
coming for him, and doesn't need/want any slip ups. I'm sure she gets a ton of BS claims though.

I have to believe there was at least some investigation into their stories by Allred. Of course, Cosby supporters are skeptical. Their latest target is Colleen Hughes, the ex American Airlines flight attendant who claimed Cosby raped her in the early 70's. Hughes said she met Cosby on a flight, and agreed to go to lunch with him. After she freshened up in a hotel room, he drank champagne from her shoe (urrgh) and she drank from a glass. Then Hughes woke up hours later covered with semen. But a Cosby supporter questioned her claims, saying he didn't fly commercial because he had a private jet. It was also mentioned that Cosby never drank alcohol.

Yeah it was said that he never drinks alcohol..... but I think there were a lot of people who thought he never raped people either. Who knows.

I'm not so sure Cosby had a private jet back then either.

I'm pretty sure Miss Allred (who is partner in Allred, Maroko & Goldberg in NYC as well as L.A.) has a team working with her on these cases. Her team would make inquiries on her behalf. One of the selling points the firm uses in its advertising is that their success is predicated on their work ethic, and that includes due diligence.

Due Diligence / Careful Screening: Our experience allows us to determine merit before engaging in lengthy negotiations with employers. Doing our homework gives us the edge when we engage an employer and attempt a resolution. Our reputation and success in the courtroom lets our opponents know that we are serious at all times.

I was a travel agent in the early 80's. The assistant manager of my office once flew on American Airlines (from Dallas? perhaps) into Bradley Airport in Hartford with the Cos. So he was flying commercial on that day... She said he didn't say a word to anyone on the plane, although many people smiled and greeted him.

Lisa Bonet isn't saying anything, even to her daughter:

ask Zoë if her mother had talked to her about the allegations. “She hasn’t, she really hasn’t,” she says. “She’d plead the fifth, even to me. I think she’s just staying out of it. She’s just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is, but I don’t think she has any insight. It’s news to her as well.”

But you understand why people would think she knows something?

“Of course,” she says. “She was on the show for a long time. She’s also a beautiful woman. It makes people wonder. She’s a very straightforward person. If there was something she felt the world needed to know that would help this case or help any women who had been abused, she would say something.”

Denise was always my favorite, and as awful as A Different World was I watched it while she was on it, then I started watching Cosby again. When Lisa Bonet left it seemed to me she was going to have a career, maybe not as a superstar, but I expected she'd be in more than one or two movies. But then nothing, not really. (Although I just checked IMDB and she's in a new series. I'll have to check it out.)

Anyway, I know this often happens to tv stars who leave tv to make movies, but now it gives me pause.

I think it's smart of Lisa Bonet not to say anything officially, especially because this is a legal case. Save her responses for the lawyers.
I feel bad for the cast of The Cosby Show. They are innocent and they have been let down by someone who had a disturbing side to him that they did not know of and had never seen. This must be painful for all of them. It's hard to speak out against someone who was always good to you and a role model. They know that what he has been accused of is disturbing, but at the same time you can tell by their public responses that they are deeply hurt. I think Cosby's co-stars are still trying to make sense of all this.
