I saw this posted over on reddit and found it interesting. I had always got a little confused because TH's RAV4 was usually described as green, but in all the evidence photo's it always looks more blue to me. When I look at that photo of her standing next to her RAV4, I DO see the teal-green color, tho. I had finally concluded that the different lighting in the photos probably led to me seeing the 2 different colors. Then I saw where someone posted THIS:

These comparison's show not only the different color's of the RAV4, but also the door handles look slightly different, and the reflector's look COMPLETELY different. Would the lighting make THAT much of a drastic change in the perception of the color of the reflector's?

Common sense tells me that if SA used bleach, along with other chemicals in the garage to clean up TH's blood, he certainly wouldn't leave her blood in the back of the RAV along with his own ALL over the place, ( spots or not ) then LOCK UP before leaving..JMO

My common sense tells me that someone who takes extra time to try to obscure a vehicle and remove a license plate is not intending for that vehicle to be easily spotted. Someone who removes a license plate and puts said license plate all the way across the property and inside another vehicle is not intending for that license plate to be easily found.

It's possible that SA didn't double-check the SUV because he didn't put it there. Same thing with the rifle ... if SA didn't shoot the rifle, why would he think to hide it ? Still impossible for me to believe SA would kill a woman and burn her body right next door to a house with so many comings and goings ...

Stating how convenient, once again for LE that " sweat/skin cell DNA " was left behind, yet there hasn't been a print of SA's on the vehicle.

So you're saying that if SA left behind DNA on the hood latch that he would have also left behind a print that would be identifiable later on?

Why is that so?

I think that it's much easier to leave behind DNA than to leave behind a print that could be tied to a suspect. JMO

These relate to PS & NS locating Teresa's Rav 4.

1. I believe this is the entrance they drove in and seen EA

2. They started their search here approximately 9.50am. There are two rows of cars.

3. They then moved to this area

4. Then moved up the "ridge" and located the car.

You can see the area where the crusher is at the top of photos 2, 3 & 4

6. Another of the car crusher. You can see the area where her Rav 4 was located.

This is where they prepare the cars before they go in the crusher. As seen on MaM, the car goes up on the hoist, which makes it easier to drain fluids, remove tyres etc.

Teresa's car was the only one in that vicinity that still had tyres, which would explain why there was more of an attempt to conceal the tyres than the actual body of the car. Only someone with knowledge of procedures would do that.

It also explains, imo, why he still had the key. He needed it to drive it up to this building and dismantle it behind closed doors without fear of being caught by anyone.

Strang & Buting weren't convincing when they made that claim either.

With all of the gloves laying around the salvage yard, why wouldn't SA just put a pair on as to not leave any blood or DNA ? Work gloves would have been everywhere ...

I have read many theories about the blood in the RAV4, and none make sense to me yet.

He wore a glove to not leave fingerprints.... but "drips" blood? I do think that with cloth gloves he could bleed through.... but I do not think that it would "drip" like the back passenger side door drip. I would expect to see more smears and they would maybe have a pattern to them.

He is careful enough to use a rag or tissue or something to not leave fingerprints, but doesn't notice he is cut and dripping blood?

He wipes down everything so he doesn't leave prints, but doesn't clean up the blood?

Thanks for the pictures!! WOW--I didn't realize there were not many cars back there, which also means very few customers would go back there looking for parts either!

They don't seem the type to worry about gloves at all...just saying..IMO, I wouldn't exactly say they believed in the "cleanliness is next to Godliness" saying...

That photo is a still shot from MaM. It is in the big cream coloured building up near the office. It has a roller door. In the footage just prior, CA had been working on that vehicle. He was removing things under the hood and he also had it up on the hoist draining fluid from underneath. I think that was most likely his role with EA & SA doing the crushing.

While they were showing this footage, they were playing audio of CA on the phone saying that he felt SA was guilty and he thought that being around other prisoners all those years and listening to things they did, had an effect on him.

In my opinion, SA was coming back from Crivitz on either Saturday night or Sunday without the family and intended to take Teresa's car into that same building to prepare it for crushing without fear of being caught in the act. But...PS ruined that idea.

So we have confirmation that they had a key made. It's not clear when the key was made, but they had it as of 11/11/05.

Also given to me by MEIER was a key the WI STATE CRIME LAB had made in order to enter
the Toyota RAV4 vehicle as the original vehicle key had not been located at the time they had
received the vehicle.

I'm still a bit confused though, because on a later date, 11/16/05, Dedering makes an inquiry with Toyota about the key and the key code, where it's located, etc. There is no indication about why he was asking these questions, and it seems that at this time they would have already had a key copy, and actually had the RAV4 key as well.
