It's
possible, of course, but I don't think it's
probable, and here's why.
Raven most likely did have women on the side, and he might have wanted to be around for his baby, but above all, Raven is concerned with Raven's well-being and Raven's needs and Raven's happiness.
I think he's a narcissistic slimeball, and I think he would drop any woman in a heartbeat and never look back, except to gloat, BTW. Obviously that includes Janet, since I am firmly on the record as saying I believe he killed her. ( Of course, the overwhelming majority of voters in our poll believe he is the perp).
IF you are suggesting a woman scorned stalking him and killing Janet instead of him, I don't think so. That's a cliche' from "Fatal Attraction". We've come so far with restricted access to unlisted phone numbers, caller ID, security systems which don't use a land line for phone access, all kinds of relatively inexpensive measures which can be implemented to deter a nut case from following him around. ( I can't imagine why anyone would follow him in the first place, actually). Plus, he has so many vehicles, following him would be a huge task for that reason alone.
If there was one special woman ( which I doubt to be honest)- She would be coming foward for her Amber Frey moment if there was a huge love nest triangle thing going on, IMO.
I think Raven is the ultimate taker. I think he took what he could get from very young and naive women where he could get it. I think he would have gotten the divorce, married the other woman and started making babies with her, also, if there was another woman. A man like him is going to go with what FEELS best, not what is the right thing. Staying in the marriage was probably NOT his idea at all but he was trapped by the unexpected pregnancy, the huge financial problems, Janet being off work with her pregnancy, his embezzlement of funds and/ or merchandise, getting caught stealing, the burden of several large debts for boy toy trucks and motorcycles and designer sportswear, etc..
Obviously things had to be really desperate for them to get free rent then discounted rent for a year. That one thing above all the things the news could have printed tells me how bad things were.
A person his age in his financial condition might let a truck payment go, or a MC payment be late, but to be unable to pay to keep a roof over their heads is hitting bottom, IMO. I think he was desperate, and
some thing happened within the household to cause him to lash out, literally. I keep thinking that she was murdered just after the income tax deadline..

Is it possible that in
January of 2004, Raven had another woman... he later finds out Janet is pregnant, he comes home to work things out but this other woman is still seeing Raven... in fact, he's suddenly paying for an apartment for this woman. He's not able to keep both life styles up, so he is forced into the extreme: he panics and embezzles money from work... he does this so that Janet has no clue he's paying for another lifestyle. He keeps this all a secret from her and things seem to be working out this way... until he gets caught and in January he is fired. He cannot continue to pay for the girlfriend's rent and his home .... therefore, he must rid himself of one or the other expense... or one or the other woman??
This is purely speculation....
