I have sometimes thought that. Indeed, there was a picture of PR in JB's room, with all of the toys and bedding laid out as you say, whatever that does for you.

Hi SD.

"whatever that does for you."

it does. I have an inkling/ hunch

Hi voynich.

Along the lines of character development, construction and segmentation of the rn.
How the trilogy, 3 repetitions is pervasive among the genre of Horror film and novels..

Creative writing not my strongsuit,
never enjoyed 'composition'
not a writer of fiction.

but iirc

Concept:

Character development

vocabulary; words or terms relecting topic, atmosphere, typically used within 'genre' of to reflect character traits and fill out the dialogue
(writers often work off vocab list, to prevent a repetition, use appropriate synonyms.

cues; use of words revealing character of hidden meanings later revealed

plot Line: transition from intro, tie in events, conclusion

Stuff like dat dare.

Construction of a narrative or character piece requires the writer to assume a 'role',
so if I were to write as a serial killer obcessed with movies,

I would really have to google around to come up with some stuff up, to assume the role, to 'become' a killer',

A fan of this genre of film would not.

It's a genre I have zero familiarity with, I've read some Stephen King and Dean Koontz, but that's 'bout it.

Maybe a Horror fan, an avid reader of this genre would be familiar with,
say .... the works of Dennis Wheatly,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Wheatley

Writing
His first book, Three Inquisitive People, was not immediately published; but his first published novel, The Forbidden Territory, was an immediate success when published in 1933, being reprinted seven times in seven weeks.
He wrote adventure stories, with many books in a series of linked works. His plots covered the French Revolution (Roger Brook Series), Satanism (Duc de Richleau), World War II (Gregory Sallust) and espionage (Julian Day).

google candyman, or Clive Barker through WIKI, and ...
it's a rounda bout way to get to "serial killer' tribute sites (and merchandise).

I don't think JMK did it. Still, "the fact that his wife said that he was with her on Christmas 1996" was quite a long time ago. I don't remember where I was 1996

I read that she provided pictures of Dec. 1996. And I remember where I was...celebrating my mom's last Christmas....at my parent's house. She passed away 7 months later.

I have a terrible truth to tell you. I think Ames is a Sith Lord. A Sith Lord? Yes, the one we've been looking for. We must act quickly if the IDI faction is to survive.

OH NO....I have to hide! I can't believe you found me! May the 4th be with you!!! National Star Trek Convention Day!

Personally I wonder if the same touch DNA they found on her pants is also present on other objects like the garrote. I do understand that finding a skin cell on a large object is like a needle in a haystack.

I agree! They need to test more than ONE thing with that so called "touch dna".

I second that....:waitasec:

We agree on 3/3, now that is a true mystery!
I would NOT have cleared the R's as Lacy did until at least one additional object had the same touch DNA.

Sorry to hear this.

I agree, Lacy should have tested a few more things before clearing the Ramseys.

And thank you!

I have always believed that the RN was the work of Patsy, with some " obsolete" type references like " Fat cat" and " attache'" thrown in by her own mother, Nedra, per cell phone. I think this is why the cell phone records have always been said to be " missing" for that one month period.
I think the Paughs played a huge role in the coverup, and possibly generational incest as well.

JMO from reading the ransom note for years and clearly seeing both " Patsy- isms" and an " older voice".

hey. y'all ...

so I've been thinking about how to write an essay ..,
and you start off with a list of things, a point sheet and then you expand, modify those points ....
then squeeze them between the introduction and conclusion.
So taken in exact order within the ransom note are these groups of words

4. we have

5. your daughter

5. She is safe and unharmed

6. if you want her to see
6. [if you want to see her ] [If you want to see her alive again]

6. follow our instructions

11. I will call you
[We will call you]

12. to instruct you on delivery.
16. delivery pickup
[with instructions]

8. You will withdraw $118,000.00
[We want $ _ _ _ _ _ _ ]
[We want $ 1 0 0 0 0 0 ]

24. marked or tampered with
[in unmarked ____ $ bills]

11. I will call you
[We will call you]

12. to instruct you on delivery
[with instructions]

21. Speaking to anyone about your situation, such as Police, F.B.I.,
[Do not contact the police]

22. will result
[will result in her death] [Do not contact the ______, speaking to anyone will result in her death]

28. Follow
29. our instructions and

28. getting her back.
[you will get her back]

I'm trying to get back to the first draft of the rn,
say the rn was drafted in stages,
layer upon layer, what would have been .... say an original paragraph, in the first draft, with just the classic ransom note for expressed english, without all the frivolous addons.

How would that read ? upon first draft?
or the rn expressed in it's simplest format.

So if you were going to, like cut and paste a rn out of a newpaper, old movie style, how would it read?

Is there a classic black and white ganster movie that has a kidnap plot with note?

This is my attempt:

we have
your daughter

she is unharmed.

We want ________in unmarked x bills

We will call you tomorow
to arrange delivery of the money.

If you speak to anyone.
or contact the police.

she dies.

What is funny, is that Nedra even said that the RN looked like Patsy's handwriting. Her OWN mother said that, and then John said that it appeared that a WOMAN had wrote it. Yep...I believe that Patsy wrote that RN, and maybe you are right, maybe she did talk to Nedra and she helped her. I do believe they knew SOMETHING...because they NEVER came out and asked for the public's help in finding the killer of their grand-daughter. I thought that was odd. Compare that with the Haleigh Cummings and Caylee Anthony cases...among many others...where the grandparents were all involved. If some "intruder" had of murdered MY grandchild, I would be all over the news asking for the public's help in finding her killer. I only know what Nedra looks like because I saw a picture of her, and I have no idea what Nedra's husband's name is, nor have I ever seen a picture of him. IMO...they made themselves just a "little bit" invisible for my liking.

Do you still have the pic of Nedra, Ames? I believe her husband's (Grandpa Paugh) name is Don.

It's the picture that Judith Miller (aka Cookie over at FFJ) took of Nedra, Patsy, JB and Burke...the one that looked like a military picture. Nedra looks like a drill sergeant. Judith used it on the back cover (sleeve) of her husband's (Doc Miller) book...I believe that the name of the book is "Prostitution of Justice". Anyway, that is the only picture of Nedra that I have ever seen. And now that you tell me Grand - Paugh's name...I remember reading it. If you haven't seen the pict. that I am talking about, let me know...and I will give you a link.
