Looks like a good question for the lawyer thread.
Especially since channel 8/news 8 was able to get Rebecca's phone records and publish them. They are not related to Rebecca.

Assuming that there was indeed a midnight visit from a physician to give Max's parents the grim news, then there would likely be several people who would also have been phoned with the news. DS would certainly have called her BF, and her twin sister, and JS would have called AS. So any of those people could have also called and left the vm. If LE is relying on that message for its ironclad finding of suicide, then surely Rebecca's family is entitled to know who left the message.
Hasn't the family said that LE told them JS left the message? LE would have no reason to lie to them about it.
JMO
Thought LE couldn't confirm who left the message?
Who doesn't want the phone examined? It either belonged to RZ or JS, so it would go to JS or RZ's family.

..from the article, i got the impression that RZ's family/attorney had given the cell records to news 8 for their story.

Not to :deadhorse:, but if Jonah's cell phone is 602xxxx, and Rebecca's is 480
xxxx, is it likely that they would be part of the same account? (Yes, I know that he could have more than one phone.)

LE is relying on all the evidence, not just that message, for its finding on suicide. It's just that most here don't believe the evidence of no other prints or DNA found, or that the alibis were thoroughly checked.Assuming that there was indeed a midnight visit from a physician to give Max's parents the grim news, then there would likely be several people who would also have been phoned with the news. FWIW I used to have Att. The bill was in my name but I could change any of the user names for each line on my account to reflect the actual user. So, if all we have is a bill with a user name it doesn't really tell us who owns the account or number. I think this will change the caller ID when you are calling out.

One of the S family (possibly DS mom) said that MS Head MRI was scheduled Wed afternoon. So, on Tues night/Wed am, they were still waiting and hoping for the best.....
ME said that brain damage is a process. The family immediately knew the injuries were serious. That night while talking to doctors the clinically parameters that medical staff were following changed and they changed their mind to his ultimate course. Plus LE said that doctors and families are always initially hopeful. They can't say much because of HIPAA.

So in the middle of the night JS supposedly calls her and tells her that in a message? They have just gone to dinner. There is nothing in the autopsy to indicate that something changed or that family was informed of anything just before the message was supposedly left. The brain death was officially declared several days later.
