What makes you declare the cell phone records new information? The police already had and have RZ's phone. This is not new to them.

If your contention, which I guess it is, is that LE indeed took these records into account for their findings, then I would have to contend that they don't have an 'ironclad' case. Just to be clear, I have never felt that LE has been compromised in their efforts to find the truth.

If that is the case, they saw that Rebecca's phone did not have a timestamp of a missed call from Jonah at 0030.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. There are things that others know that the general public don't know. Sometimes I think it would have been better had LE not given the info they did. Just because we don't have all the facts, doesn't make it murder or even a cover up. I do agree however that LE underestimated the curiosity and overestimated the naiveté of the public.

Also, and I really am asking this question out of curiosity, is it possible that JS did not place a call, he just sent a voicemail directly. The option 8 Thimbu on a message will let you just reply. I do this all the time.

Which others know? You mean law enforcement? Jonah Schacknai? I said before and will also say again, that the people most closely affected by Rebecca's death, have not been given that information. The Zahaus do not know what happened. They are not the 'general public', by any stretch of the imagination.

I am not certain that the current DA would be able to get the support needed, to get factual and accurate information. This case has been compromised from the beginning. (One foots boot print). It will take multiple agencies, to figure out the truth, imho.

I think Websleuths, in particular, doesn't fit this term. Is it your suggestion that this term applies to the Zahau's?

I believe there are things the Zahau family should NOT accept at this time. They deserve answers. This is a loss of a loved one, that in their hearts and minds doesn't add up. There are MANY others who agree with that, even prior to Bremner becoming involved in this case.

I didn't know you could do that! That's cool. If that is the case, then his cell phone records should still be substantiated since that 'fact' was so pivotal to the suicide ruling.

Oh my you are exactly right! I mean they underestimated the curiosity and overestimated our naïveté . Thank you for the clarification. For them to think we would buy their explanations of BOTH deaths, they must have thought us fools.

Agreed. I like to think LE looked at all the records. I will go so far as to say I'm curious too what the records show. I only have issue with someone being asked to turn their property over to another party who may or may not want to accuse them of murder in the near future. I make that a personal policy as well (this is attempting humor) . Again, we get to the part of whos personal property it is, and we've been over that . . .
