What's appalling & revolting is how ANGRY & ABUSIVE they become towards anyone who is looking for a deceased Caylee.

It's one thing to HOPE someone is still alive... it's sick to be UNGRATEFUL & COMBATIVE with people who are trying to help you.


And to think of how many people who have been directly & indirectly hurt because of this family's misguided need to protect Casey at all costs.

I think Casey told her parents some bogus story, and Cindy chooses to believe her. It is obvious from all of the documents released that Caylee is dead.

Casey was not allowed to discuss the case with anyone except for Baez. I believe she did not tell her family anything except the intial two ZG kidnap stories which she obviously doctored up a bit more for them. They don't believe her lies. They are covering for her knowing full well that Caylee is dead, imo.

This doesn't mean that someone else isn't feeding them a whole lot of BS tho...such as Lee perhaps? The PIs? The list is endless of people that could be coming up with wild speculation and theories with access to the fam. Most of those ingraciated themselves to interject into this horrific saga for whatever sick and sad reasons they have, imo.

Er, this isn't the place for this, but. . .I believe Madeleine is probably still alive. I don't quite think the 2 cases compare on all levels. In the McCann case there were pedophile links, police abuse links, here there aren't. I believe the Anthony case is one of a kind.

The McCanns have also travelled a lot, searching for Madeline. They didn't tell everyone else to, while sitting on their butts.

I keep telling myself to stay out of this but it just keeps "buggin'" me ....and I know it has been said a kajillion times but..EVEN IF the A's believe that Caylee was taken by or given to someone they DO NOT KNOW OR HAVE NEVER SEEN OR TALKED TO OR EVEN EVER HAD A PHONE NUMBER FOR wouldn't it dawn on them at some point that whoever this phantom figure is just MIGHT have done something to Caylee??? Wouldn't they be grateful (NOT HATEFUL) to the people who were dedicating so much time and resources to finding her even if she might NOT be alive????? Wouldn't they want to KNOW if there was even a slight possibility????
It will be a mighty interesting "story" they have to explain all the things they have said about why KC "can't / won't talk" and has told several versions of what happened ...and whether the person / people who have her are going to harm her or keep her safe (they have spoken out of both sides of their mouths on that one) ..and how their going on any TV show or media interview of any kind and talking about this constantly is keeping Caylee alive and safe!!!!!
OR if they "KNOW" who has her and that she is alive why on earth have they not told LE where to start looking for her???
Which is it? Do they KNOW who has her or NOT???? Is she "safe" , "close" or not? And if she is with someone who "wanted her / loves her" why are they suffering "grief"?........arghhhhhhhh.......these questions could go on and on

I think the majority of parents of missing children ONLY search for an alive child until such time as it becomes grossly apparent that the child is deceased (usually, when LE finds the body.) I wouldn't expect the parents/grandparents to do anything else because to search for a dead child would be too much to bear. Obviously they want to hope against hope until there is no more hope. So I cut the Anthony's a lot of slack on this particular issue.

This is why I KNOW they are lying. If my own child or grandchild were missing and presumed kidnapped, every time my face was in front of a camera I would be pleading and begging with the kidnappers not to hurt my baby and that we were willing to do whatever they wanted to get her back safely. I would do this from day one and without ceasing until my baby was found. The Anthony family have not made ONE, again, not ONE single plea for Caylee's safe return. They have not addressed the "kidnappers" one time as far as I can recall. They KNOW that she is not kidnapped. They KNOW that she is DEAD. They KNOW Casey did it. And they KNOW that they are covering up for what Casey has done to try to save HER and to hell with Caylee. It seems that they are thinking like this, well it's too late for Caylee, she is already dead and there is nothing that we can do to help her anymore, so we must concentrate all of our energies on helping Casey-the murdering witch that took her own baby's life and then either threw her in to the alligators or threw her in the trash. Yes Anthony family, by all means, let's preserve the life of someone of that caliber that they could DO that to their own flesh and blood! NOT!!!:furious::furious:

I believe in both cases it was accidental due to overdosing on some sleeping meds of some sort to keep the kid quiet whilst they party.......... but they know the child is dead

I agree with you. I still remember Sharon Rochas asking whoever had Laci to please, please, please let her go. I have not heard Cindy make any pleas to any kidnappers at all, let alone with any sincereity

The thing that really bugs me is that ALL the so called tips of Caylee being seen are ONLY called into to CA.

I just do not buy that. If anyone saw her they would call 911 immediately as with any other child. They deny because they want to save their evil daughter and do not want to admit she is capable of doing such a thing.

Pollywog, great point about where the sighting calls are going. Seems 911 is a more easier remembered number to call for help. Do these people who have seen Caylee carry around Cindy and George's telephone number? I find that odd.

Even odder that they only seem to call in their tips WHEN Cindy is trying to shift the focus AWAY from one of the actual searches for Caylee.

I don't think they are running on denial fumes anymore. Somewhere along the line they came to accept that Caylee is gone. They know nothing can bring her back to life. Who knows? Maybe Casey confessed to her family and pleaded for forgiveness.

They then made the conscious practical choice to save what is left of their family (and that includes Casey).

Quite right, Caylee is not her only victim, regardless of what has happened since, on July 15 2008 Cindy, George, Lee and every single person KC had been lying to for the last month became her victim too. Sadly, as little as KC cared for her baby, she cares even less for her family and friends who she continues to drag down with lies about her daughter's last day.

The contempt I feel for this woman knows no end.

I've seen many times family members refuse to believe that a loved one has died - even once they've seen the dead body. Just as I have seen many family members of terminally ill patients refuse to believe that their loved one is going to die.

It's a denial and coping mechanism.

For five months? An entire family? I can see the denial stage of grief, the disbelief lasting for days or weeks or even potentially a month or so, but FIVE months? That has got to be some kind of record, and it is a MASS denial by the entire family. Surely at least ONE of them would have come out of it by now if it were in fact TRUE denial. I just don't see it. They know.
