Katie Holmes to Make Tom Cruise Sign A Prenup

Katie Holmes wants a prenup.

Sources say Katie's dad, who is a lawyer, has come up with the idea.
He is representing his daughter's interests, and, according to Star, “is playing hardball with the prenup negotiations”, as he wants to make sure his daughter will receive “a lump sum payment in the millions if the marriage should dissolve before the five-year mark.”

Same source says: “The Holmes family would never tell Katie if they thought her marriage was doomed from the get-go, but they are pressuring her to hold out not only to protect her interests but those of her child.”

Whether the Holmes like Tom Cruise or not, Miss Holmes surely loves him.
And the prenup seems to be no problem for Tom, who is happy to sign the contract as soon as possible.

We were out to dinner last night with another couple and somehow this topic came up...can't remember how...anyway, we started talking about how creepy Tom is and how this whole thing is so bizzarre, and my friend got really quiet. I asked what was wrong, and her husband said, "She doesn't like it when I talk about Tom and Scientology like that." WTF??? This is one of my closest friends. She is a practicing Catholic, and a fairly conservative person. I almost fell out of my chair.

We were talking about the whole silent birth thing, and she claimed that it wasn't true, that she had seen an interview with a woman who is a Scientologist (is that the right word?) who said they only encourage a "serene" birth environment, and that the whole no talking for 7 days thing was made up by the tabloids. Later her husband asked her again why she was so quiet, and she got really snippy and said, "Well, you obviously are such an expert on Scientology! I just thought I might learn something."

It was a long dinner.

Well, unfortunately it is true about not talking for 7 days after bub's birth. They say it is not entirely compulsory but they have a stupid point system, all sorts of crazy restrictions, that they really leave you with no choice but to abide by the rules.
If you google Scientology you will find out how crazy scientologist's really are.
And homophobic lol. They've so tried to cover up Travolta's gay past. Just like it never existed.

Sorry, should have been more specific.
Should have said, his bi sexual past.
Neither is acceptable to Scientologists.

I've got a virus and can't bookmark, but I will try and remember where I found that out about Travolta. Bear with me and I'll come back and edit this to let you know.
I've always thought Travolta was bi though before I read that article about him.
I hope I find it again.

I had heard that about Travolta years ago... don't know that I believe it, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I think we'd probably all be shocked to find out how common that actually is out in Hollyweird. There have been tons of rumors about it throughout the years.

I found this site...but I think it is a bunch of crap, so don't think I am using it as fact. I did find it interesting that when I did a google on (Is John Travolta gay) I saw a BUNCH of sites. I thought he was so fine in the 80's! :o

I can't provide a link, sorry.
I can't find where I read that about Travolta, it was on a Scientology site though, not on some gossip forum (not that it still can't be BS)
But whilst looking for that link ,I found no end of stuff on Cruise and Travolta.
Some of the rumours........makes you wonder :waitasec:

Gay or not Gay, this cult covers things up as long as the Celebs pay their "dues".

I understand and accept that my stories on this Cult are not accepted as "fact"... for that I am sorry, because my info is as close as it comes to being "real"..considering..

I am always willing to give my input if anyone wants *first-hand* knowledge.
But..other then that, I'll sit and mind my own Business. :)
