Resemblance of McDuff and BSL

I do not know. I tried to figure out the family tree today and am confused. GL is a cousin but I do not know which of his parents are Gary's sibling.

Very insignificant, but i just want to note, notice how in both, their "strings" of hair fall very high on their forehead. This usually predicts a receding hairline.

You know what got me, while watching that A&E video...they had a bigger clear picture of the same we have posted and my gosh...even more of a resemblance then what we have posted.

3 years before BSL was even born...

If nothing else it sounds like BSL may have tried to "be like" McDuff in some weird way!
I do wonder...

Could it be that BSL looked up to Gary?

I'm just thinking that BSL may have heard stories from his cousin during his younger years... I don't think anything else. He and his wife have 3 kids IIRC they are close to BSL's age possibly younger... maybe they played together?
I don't think the cousin is "involved" in any way!
(BUT I HOPE he writes another book!!! )
