Resemblance of McDuff and BSL

I believe it said it was a victim's son that asked that not KM's son. I'm pretty sure it was on GL's website, however I can't seem to find it now.

Yes! You're correct, I guess I'm trying to find anything to relate the two because I think they resemble each other SOOO much! Although it is quite weird that a relative of BSL would write about KMc when they look so similar, unless BSL wanted to be KMc?! Veryyy confusing.

When reading on GL's site and him mentioning that KMc's son personally asked him the question about writing about KMc...I find it very strange that GL would know KMc's son. I have searched about KMc having children and no where can I find that he has a son, how would GL be one of the only people to know this?

ight to ask what the young son of one of McDuff’s victims asked me recently: "Why would someone want to write a book about Kenneth McDuff?" I wish my answer had not been so clumsy. (And this was the second time this had happened; Dr. Albert Lalonde of Austin asked me the same question about Charles Whitman, and I was equally clumsy.) I explained to the little boy that we know light exists only because there is darkness, and darkness exists only because there is light – one does not exist without the other. So it is with good and evil. We must study both. Good people must prevail over bad people; knowledge must prevail over ignorance; and history must prevail over folklore.

He says one of the young suns of a victim, but I can not see where any victims would have a young son. The vics were killed in the early 90's. The book came out in 1999 and Hal seems to be speaking about a book talk, so this would be after 1999, I think. And if you were the care giver to a child whose mm was killed would you take them to meet the author?

The only place I see anything about a victim having children is on gary lavergne's website. It states that Melissa Northrup had 2 small children.

I definitely agree that they have a resemblance. It's highly doubtful that they are related though.

I only wish that we could know who the son of the victim is who asked GL why he was writing a book on McDuff. How did he ask this? Did they meet before or was it just through an e-mail or something?

I posted on page one a link to the A&E episode about McDuff and GL is one of the sources and speaks on the episode. It is on youtube, about a hour long. Some small details are on it that isn't written online. Same pictures of him we've seen but much clearly and bigger. I highly advise any and all who are interested to view it.

Towards the end I was convinced that BSL is not his son however I was more convinced that BSL read about him, and fashioned himself after him. Or should I say, BSL probably found a lot in common with KM

MN mother is on the A&E program too, she doesn't mention if they are boy and girl, two girls or what.

This is only a guess, but maybe there is other children or son, that the victim's family didn't want it to be known. I can see how LE, Media would respect that.

My understanding is that he actually was released on the Sunday of the weekend she was killed and Le believes she was killed on the Friday or the Saturday, before he would have been out.
