Is everybody glad the judge is having a longer day on Monday for the trial?

It depends. Why? If it just to have some closed door meetings then no. None of us know the reason.

IMO she (Jodi) is convinced she will never be put to death, even if this jury comes down with it. She has the joint petition going on; she has years of appeals; she has the slight chance that Arizona will one day discontinue death penalties; and most of all she has 'magical thinking'.

That could be the way it plays out in the long run. And if so, then so be it.

I, personally, just want to hear the staple lady say "death" so Jodi knows exactly how much she is hated for the crime she committed, and that she didn't get away with anything.

The quickened pace seemed to begin after JSS told the jury it would be going into Feb. and to write down any conflicts they had, probably most of them couldn't serve further if it went too far into Feb. so rather than have a mistrial by jury attrition she's finally pushing to get it finished. moo

If you hilite the title of the article you can read it. I did go and read it. I have been following her blog for a few months now and really enjoy the ultra snarky tone she uses. I find it pretty funny, actually. After reading this "revelation" article, I actually am not so sure it isn't a plant by a JAII follower. Would be kind of up their alley to try to get people reading that blog to stop. JMO and who knows. I never donated any money to it. But I sure have enjoyed the snark!

I think the title of the article about catfish is a play on the title of Kellys blog. Its Really Big Mean Dog for anyone who wants to look at some of her postings. Hilarious!

IMO, he is trying to hit it home that Jodi did this PTSD test around the same time she wrote the letters to everyone. Which means, lies, lies, lies and the fact she can manipulate tests. This is why Juan did not want to lie detector tests in.

Ok, this is the second post I've read regarding a lie detector test. Did Jodi take one because I remember in her first interview with Det. Flores she asked to take one, but when he said "yeah, we can do that, but it can't be admitted in court" Jodi replied, "well then why take it if it won't help my case?" So she did take one afterall? If so, are the results posted anywhere? Thanks.

I doubt she owned enough assets to fill a minivan let alone a big U-Haul truck. Minimal clothing, books, funky art, pots and pans, toiletries, knives?????? She had no permanent residence in Arizona, so exactly where was she keeping a U- Haul truck load of belongings? IMO, I think she had told her family that she was living with Travis and had acquired way too much to move in a vehicle, and then there's the old clunker car of hers to tow.... did she tow it behind the U-Haul? She must have since her mom flew back. She had champagne taste on a beer budget, never lived in the State of Reality.

Didn't she also take all her plants back from TA's house, and they just died in her car on the way back?

I also remember a big kerfluffle in the 1st trial, about a selfie that JA took, while sitting in the U-Haul. The DT fought hard to keep it out, because it was a close up, and she had no bruises or redness on her face, and she had testified that he backhanded her the day before. IIRC?

I'm sure Nurmi/Willmott read the comments from the excused juror after JA's secret testimony came out, they may have decided she has to retake the stand and cry, show remorse, say something to sway the other jurors' opinions of her, because according to the dismissed juror, her story came off as self serving and not truthful. Although, the DT may have already surmised that she just can't show remorse in a believable manner and may not want JM to get ahold of her again, now that the letter to the family is out. I'm sure she wants to retake the stand though.

Even though Jodi is absolutely projecting herself as the ninja intruder in the letter she wrote to the Alexander family, I predict that even if Jodi doesn't re-take the stand (and I don't think she will, but what do I know?) Geff or maybe even Samuels himself will explain it away as typical dissociative (if that's the word for it) behavior. Sort of a hail mary borderline mental illness assertion by the defense hoping to reach a potentially sympathetic juror. I hope Dr. De Marte is prepared with an answer to that claim that is more sophisticated than mine would be.

I've heard people say Jodi intended to send the sex tape to Travis' Bishop to blackmail him, but I hadn't considered Jodi sending it to any of Travis' potential girlfriends (and I don't know why I hadn't considered that because that really is part and parcel for her).

But either way, in what world does a person think blackmailing someone would endear yourself to them? "Yeah, I know he's just not in to me, but if I secretly record an x-rated conversation and threaten to expose him, I just know he'll love me then". Who thinks like that?

Another example of Jodi being quick on her feet is her telling Travis she hired a lawyer after he told her that recording a phone conversation is illegal. She really is quick and nimble. Like ninja!

Thank you friend. For some reason this is, outside of claiming to be pregnant, one of the oldest tricks a mistress would play, expose the affair to the wife so the wife will end the marriage. Dr. DeMarte explained that yes, to the outside world looking in, one would wonder....how is this supposed to endear the person to you, but her world and view begs no alternative. She doesn't see things the way a normal person does. Chris Hughes found that post of Joey's years ago .

I can almost hear Jodi saying to Travis.....oh so I am not good enough for you, but the sweet Mormon girls are.....well Travis we will just see how they feel about YOU once they know what you are really up to . Maybe then you wont be good enough for THEM....


We know from Dr. Hiatt that Travis discovered Jodi had hacked into his phone and email and sent girls messages posing as Travis, and hold on to your seat........she sent herself these flowery compliments supposedly FROM Travis.

Regarding the bishop, Jodi got a big surprise when she went to Travis' bishop after his death. She thought she could really smear his name in the church by telling Travis' bishop about their sexual relationship, but Travis had already come to him and begged for help, really crying out for help, saying he was in over his head with Jodi and confessed the sexual relationship. The VILE thing about Jodi going to the bishop is she was not going to HER bishop to repent HER sins and ask for guidance, she was just trying to smear Travis. It backfired.

She didn't even tell the whole truth, she mentioned some of the fooling around stuff but lied and said they had not went all the way. That was brought out by Juan in the trial about what good is it to go to the bishop if you are going to LIE TO HIM!!!

In any case, yes, in Jodi's mind if she could scare off the Mormon girls , like slashing Lisa's tires and sending her VILE letters telling her she was a for having Travis at her home at night, etc......if she could run them off that would leave her as the only choice he had. In the very end, she found out that Travis met yet another, fresh new Mormon girl who had joined the Ward that was drop dead gorgeous, so her work would have never ended.

I have a lot of friends that are Mormon and they are no more perfect in adhering to every single rule of their religion than my Jewish friends, my Catholic friends....no one could have cared less if Travis was a virgin. That is between him and God, much like it is for every bride and groom on their wedding night that with a wink and a smile may say they remained a virgin till now.
