Thanks geevee, That's just what I was looking for. I'm trying to determine exactly when Jodi's laptop was taken as evidence and if it was a Dell. I know that a damaged external hard drive was also found.

YW :) That's a good question, I don't recall what type of laptop she had but I'll look around a bit and see if I can find any reference to it.

I read up thread? that the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 started in December 2007 instead than September. Would that be around the time that Jodi barged in announcing she was Travis's girlfriend? and she slept under the Christmas tree? and I wonder when Jodi went to make that restaurant size cookie recipe, and Deanna found her on Travis's laptop? And when did Jodi have to rush to take Travis the honey chicken that she didn't want it to get soggy? And the storing her things at his house (why not where she lived) and went to get her social security card. And going back for the porcelain angel (on January 21? the day nothing noteworthy happened) that Travis's supposedly gave her for helping him put the christmas things in the attic? Then bringing the cd's of photos. She always had a "reason" to go to Travis's no matter how dumb it sounds to us. Just thoughts in my head at times.

She has very little innate mitigators. Her strategy seems to be to make Travis look as bad as possible to lower the stark contrast between the two. It's the Godzilla vs. King Kong defense as opposed to Godzilla vs. helpless village.

I don't think there's necessarily any particular hatred toward Travis in this. To say that she can feel such hate towards another is to imply she can feel love for another as well. I don't think that's her motivation at all; it's cold, emotionless, self-interest. I don't think others, Travis included, are real enough to her for her to have real emotion towards them, either love or hate. She is self-interest incarnate, because only she is real to herself.

I think the murderer's rage is apparent in the 29 stabs, almost decapitation, and gunshot. Call it BPD, call it narcissistic, call it psychopathic, whatever, it's there. And it continues with the relentless and sadistic murdering of not only Travis' life and reputation but that of anyone who she thinks crossed her.

I think the only way she will believe this and make a ruling will be based on facts, hence why JM wants the copies to review for himself.
I read on BK site that BN had to go to Dallas for a trial.
We just have to be patient because this 🤬🤬🤬🤬 thing will continue on for awhile.

I live in Dallas. Wonder what trial?

Of course there's rage, but the rage is because he opposed her, was a threat to her reputation, and not because she had any feelings tied up in Travis. Just look at how objectified he was that she could slaughter him like he was an animal and then go on with her life as if nothing happened. There's no emotional connection, no lose ends severed by his loss, she was grinding with someone just hours after killing him, and those hours were only because she had to drive hundreds of miles to reach him, she would have done it in ten minutes if he lived close by. Yes, there was rage, but it was self-referential rage. You don't hate an object, you get rid of it when it becomes inconvenient. The rage was for perceived threats to herself, not against Travis. He was just an object that came to embody threats to her reputation, and she got rid of him with no regrets, and without looking back, except to cover her tracks.

From something I just read (a link at sidebar), she displayed anger at anyone that got in her way. But, anger it was. Makes me curious where did all this anger come from originally.

Did other psychos display anger? Bundy? Others? Serial killers? She is not cold-blooded if she constantly experiences anger. That seems to be her strongest emotion besides sexual passion.

SHE was the one that needed to be calmed through sex when she was in a tezzie. It was only a projection when she claimed it was Travis. Everything she claimed Travis was, turned out to be just projections of her own internal emotions.

Was it Bobby that she left under very bad circumstances? He did not want contact with her again. He was lucky to have escaped.

But, Travis offered her a doorway into financial success, ala R. Burns, etc....and she did not want her true self exposed.

I don't think this trial is about Travis or CMJA anymore. They seem to be "extras" in this script of a trial. It seems as though it is more about Nurmi wanting to beat JM and it appears deeply personal. JMV

I don't understand how anyone could be taken in by JA, but apparently, there are quite a few. After seeing the horrible crime scene photos and the autopsy photos, there's no way in hell that I could ever touch her hands - it would freak me out way too much knowing what those hands did. I'd be afraid the evil would transfer off on me somehow - seriously!

Jodi had a Dell, I think the external hard drive was also a Dell . It was taken into evidence the morning she was arrested. LE had been watching her and Jodi had a visitor that she had a long conversation the night before, they think it was Sandy, and the next morning there was a brand new rental car parked in the driveway so they arrested her before she could flee.

and from HLN

Also Thursday, defense attorneys asked prosecutors to turn over Arias’ computer hard drive so they can conduct their own independent testing on it. They also complained that prosecutors weren’t being forthcoming in turning over evidence, because they have not given the defense access to the contents of the hard drive.

Prosecutor Juan Martinez explained that the delay was because the hard drive was damaged and an outside firm had to examine it for potential evidence.

Martinez says his team is still waiting for the examination and would turn over to the defense the hard drive and the firm’s report when everything is complete. It is still unclear what the hard drive could reveal.

also Jodi's interview after her conviction.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ARIAS: There`s a photograph on my hard drive which my attorneys didn't feel was relevant, but it`s a picture of him chasing around a naked 4-year-old boy with his Bible open, pretending to be a Catholic priest. I don`t know why. We were all hanging out. I thought it was silly at the time and I snapped the photograph. And at the time, I just thought he was mocking the Catholic church in poor taste, and then that was that. So her defense didn't take the time to find the people they were hanging out with if this supported Jodi's claim of his lust for little boys.

But that was a year before I walked in on him. And so after that incident of walking in on him, I began to put all these things together, and that was one of the puzzle pieces that seems to make sense to me.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What would have changed (ph)?

ARIAS: There was a man who saw me with bruises all over. I would have made every effort to find him, and they didn't. There are other people who saw me with bruises, my friends, my sisters. And the defense didn`t call them for their own reasons. And I think that would have corroborated some of the things that I said.

On the hard drive that we just discussed, the one that was not part of my trial, I took pictures of myself during that time not specifically for that purpose, but just being on the road. And I just keep thinking maybe it was in that photo, tons of things.

Her defense team for some reason was not interested in that hard drive until now?

Somehow I missed this, as I don't remember hearing before that the guy she was with at the car rental place had blonde hair. I thought the general consensus was it was her brother, but don't her brothers have dark hair ?

I have spent the last 2 hours trying to find the Hertz car rental guy's testimony from trial. I found out after an hour of googling...that it was actually Budget Rental  He doesn't say anything about the mans hair color. He also said he doesn't even know for sure if she was with the guy, or if they both just happened to be standing at the counter at the same time.

Start at around 14:00 or better yet > skip to about 20:11 we know who he is, what he does, how long he's been in business blah blah blah

I totally understand. It's like Caylee was lost and it became all about Casey and her sorry butt.

Did Darryl have sole custody of his kid? If he did, he exposed a child to a psychopath....sex must have been good, because what else was Jodi good for.

Did he say when he was on the stand? I can't remember. Don't mean to say we should sleuth...

No he didn't, and when his ex was moving to Monterrey he moved also to be close to his son. When his ex had a boob job Jodi had one also.

The defense is definitely trying to employ distraction. It's up to the individual observer whether they succeed or not.

They're still not interested if you're referring to everything that's going on now. This is about Travis' hard drive, not Jodi's.

But what if the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 came from Jodi's dell hard drive and someone loaded the photos' onto Travis's hard drive while it might of been laying around their forensic cave.

#JodiArias forensic computer expert: recovered pictures of male genitalia from a damaged hard drive - Jodi's not Travis's computer.

I'm not sure where you're coming from with this. Is this an allegation someone is making? I thought the issue was the defense claiming the prosecution deleted 🤬🤬🤬🤬, not added it.

I wonder about her lips too, her mother and mother's twin have very very thin lips, as does the grandmother. We know she loved spending money on her body.

You have to spend money to make money.

YesOrNo posted this over on the SideBar thread. It addresses the innate anger and rage of a sociopath, like the Killer, imo. Quite chilling.

Confessions of a Sociopath

"She's a successful law professor and a Sunday school teacher, with a host of family and friends. But her interpersonal calculus centers on how to manipulate and outmaneuver the many people in her life. Welcome to a world of ruthless cost-benefit analysis, charm, and grandiosity...."
