And with her hacking his email, facebook, etc etc, he probably got paranoid and installed everything he could find.

:seeya:

Can someone please briefly state in layman terms what just happened at the hearing ?

So far, is it looking good for Juan -- or God forbid -- helping the defense :gaah:

 This will certainly help peeps like me who are not very techy with computers !

THANKS !

I think Neumeister is trying to insinuate that since Travis had a number of antivirus/antimalware apps on his computer, Travis was therefore trying to "erase his tracks." That's why Neumeister conveniently uses the word SCRUBBERS to describe them.

That whole argument is really stupid. (I mean their argument not yours haha.) If Travis was a 🤬🤬🤬🤬 lover, why would he care about downloading 19 things to try to get rid of 🤬🤬🤬🤬? He wasn't hiding his tracks - he was trying to get rid of this carp that had gotten on his computer through JA or through some other means.

William Pitts @william_pitts · now
Expert says the history of user-generated 🤬🤬🤬🤬 searches go back to 2007. Including escort sites.

Who cares if Travis looked at 🤬🤬🤬🤬 (if he did)....I image most guys do...and even women do. This has NOTHING to do with mitigating. Only to delay trial.

This would be consistent with his computer getting infected (whether by JA or accidentally) and him trying everything he could find to clean up the mess. Many of us have been there and done that.

Wasn't TA really pissed with CMJA for infecting his computer?

As others have noted, this was a public computer, his roomates came and went even while he was dead in the shower. There is nothing that 100% puts this on Travis, did he like 🤬🤬🤬🤬? Who cares, as long as it's not the child kind. If state and defense could power it up, then there was no passwords that could put it on him.

Right?

@TrialDiariesJ: There were 19 of these types of scrubbers on computer #jodiarias #3tvarias

All I keep thinking is..."What the he$$ did JA do to Travis's computer?"

  • #569
The point is (correct me if needed, please) that they're saying that the Prosecution said there wasn't 🤬🤬🤬🤬 but there was. They're accusing Juan and his Krewe of tampering with evidence. If that happens to cast Travis in a bad light while they're doing it, it's lagniappe for them.

The point isn't the presence of the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 or who put it there. It's Juan's imaginary (we hope) "cover-up" of it that they're yelling about.

If Juan wanted to turn on the computer to look for/delete 🤬🤬🤬🤬, why would he call the DEFENSE ATTORNEY to come over and watch?

Come on. "I've never seen so many selfies." Does that sound like something Juan Martinez would say, especially about the victim? Sounds like a put down.

Thank you for those two folks who tried to point me to the picture of the hard drive "damaged pins" but I can't find them! There are 63 pages there, you referred to a motion by "Jen" I don't know who Jen is! I'm old and I can't follow all this, I'm sorry! Is this an External Hard Drive, or the Internal one that you have to remove the back cover of the laptop to access? I'm sorry, I'm about to cry with frustration!!!

How convenient. The day before she rented the car and set off on her murderous road trip. I wouldn't put is past her to do this remotely as part of the elaborate plan.

Exactly. How do we know she wasn't using remote access? Wasn't there something about CMJA bringing TA a CD with pics? That is highly suspicious to me. Why not just send the pics? What else (really) was on that CD?

Right?

And his laptop was in his office dnstairs where others could get to it...did he keep the door locked? Regardless, the likeliest suspect is JA. And if TA had put a Windows password on his lappy, she could have brought a CD with Ophcrack on it and discovered the password for her own use, and he'd be none the wiser. I wouldn't put anything past JA when it came to invading his space and privacy.

Hmmm maybe JA was in the escort business Dec 07 or looking to join one

I am very depressed. :sigh:

I bet even Zervakos is wishing they'd just given her the death penalty when they had the chance.

Meanwhile in Twitter-land:

@monicalindstrom $60,000 question. I personally don't think Juan would intentionally do this. He had too much other evidence. #JodiArias

Ask yourself what's real issue is in #JodiArias.Don't get lost in 🤬🤬🤬🤬 smoke & mirror images.;) Did State error? Would it affect M1 outcome?

Part of this hearing IMO is to trash TA the other part is to try and show a Brady violation occurred by the Pros.
