The JA supporters rumor about the gas cans - I believe they do have some "inside" info. There were leaks that they knew Jodi was going to take the stand (in the secret witness testimony). I assume that if the gas can rumor is true - Nurmi is going to try and discredit this theory for purposes of saying there was no premeditation - therefore JA doesn't deserve the DP.

I also believe that the CoA is going to say there are many "least restrictive alternatives" to closing the courtroom, but I truly hope they have put some "verbs" in their explanation of the orders. ie: release the secret witness testimony now unless you can prove there is an imminent harm to a witness - and btw Jodi facing the DP doesn't count as the "imminent harm to a witness". (At least that is my theory on Nurmi's hole filled argument for the secret hearings).

Remember in one of her interviews she said that she would not be a danger to anyone unless they tried to kill her life ? I believe that was the reason that she did kill Travis. He was going on a PPL cruise and going to tell everyone who she really was and that would have killed her life, at least the one she had planned to marry a well off Morman.

There is an old photo of her in a white coat with the snow in the background that looks like she has dark hair. I am wondering if the nudes are from this time. Perhaps she drugged him? He does not look right, in his face!

The pedophilia smear has always been central to her legal and subliminal strategy, as well as a fine tactic to destroy Travis again and again.

The pedo lie is meant to explain why Travis abused her, and only her. She knew his secret , blah blah. Without that connection to the abuse it would never have been allowed in.

From the DT view: pedo explains the abuse, slimes Travis, and mitigates the slaughter because he was a deceptive abuser pedophile who deserved to die.

However, my post was only addressing what this jury has heard to date. Yes, we all know why Arias concocted the shocking, horrible discovery she made, walking in on Travis unannounced, with his subsequent violence. She supplied the reason for much of the ugliness she attributes to him. Her detail pertaining to times & dates caught her once again, fabricating. Martinez took it apart, I sure concentrated on it and you, Hope, presented a water tight timeline demonstrating her tale was false. If you are anticipating that the killer will reach for it again, you may well be right but it hasn't happened yet.

Yup! I can tell you that at Kohl's if someone makes a return at a different store, then still tries to use the full amount of their Kohl's cash- it will show up on the computerized register that a return has been counted against that amount, the date of the return and the location of the store they returned it at, even if it's a different location. I'm sure Walmart did the same thing back then.

There has been a huge amount of discussion involving that one picture. Which I think proves something was "off" about it. There seems to be a reaction from Travis that is not typical.

In JMO, I think his reaction almost seems like despair. So you could be right that he saw her holding a knife or gun and felt defeated at that instant.

None of the shower pictures look relaxed to me. They appear awkward, devoid of enthusiasm, forced. Did she use the gun to force him into the shower? Or did she persuade him to pose for a few shots then draw the gun to move him to the sitting position? That look on his face haunts. His eyes show fear, confusion, bewilderment at being trapped in that position and yes, despair. Tuba kindly provided the time his computer was last used. There was barely half an hour between that point and the start of the shower sequence.

I've been puzzled by one aspect of this since the trial. When did Arias get her say? We all know how she loves to talk. Would she have been happy with saying it all with a knife? Not telling him what she was going to do, what she thought of him. How he had hurt HER? Or did she run out of time? Also, why would Travis shave but shower later? Maybe he showered earlier and she forced him back after 5.00 pm? Or maybe I'm over thinking this - always a danger in this endless spin of lies.

Except that we know she dyed her hair back to brunette between Redding, CA and Mesa, Az. Some people think she did it at a salon in Gilroy or Monterrey, CA. She was a brunette when she visited Ryan Burns in Utah. And she took some cell phone selfies of it.

Really good observations, I agree with you. That first day she was very confident and that's where I noticed the way she is able to defect ANY and criticism. And the singing and laughing? Seemed a little taken with herself. She takes responsibility for nothing.

Like Juan has pointed out repeatedly and she hates hearing: "....everything is always someone else's fault...."

I think the singing was done with half a suspicion that a camera was on her. It was a chance for her to demonstrate her 'wonderful' voice to a large audience. The reason I say this is her body language. She must have been told by someone that police interviews are recorded. She admited to have watched lots of arrest scenes, jail processing stuff. Detectve Flores tells her that the tape recorders are off. Dim as she is, I find it hard to believe she wasn't half aware there may be a camera. And she sure lives to be in front of a camera.

I'm not sure he's leaking DT secrets. Michael Kiefer is the one who called the media attorney, David Bodney, when the press and the public were told to leave the courtroom. Kiefer has been in Cape Cod over the Thanksgiving holidays and Megan Cassidy has been filling in for him.

The reporter who broke the story that the secret witness was JA was Troy Hayden, who works for a different network.

Even without enough gas to not have to fill up in Arizona, there's still plenty of other premeditation- Grandpa's stolen gun which matches the ballistics of the gun that shot Travis, the inconspicuous rental car rented 100 miles away, the hair dye, the flipped license plate, the post-murder voicemails and e-mails to establish alibi...

I have always thought the third gas can was a moot point. Even if she only had two extra she could have stopped and filled up one again and paid cash.

The killer bought one gas can and did not return it but even if she had returned it, so what? She had two others that she borrowed.

I posed the question a while back of who in AZ and surrounding areas has ever taken extra gas along in cans in the trunk, through the desert in June, and no one here admitted they had ever done it or knew anyone who had ever done this. It's stupid because it's not necessary, let alone extremely dangerous.

But even if all of a sudden now with this posting half a dozen people were to post claiming this to be a common practice I say again, so what? Killer Arias took numerous steps in preparation for her trip to slaughter a man in his own home that clearly show premeditation--the gas cans are strong evidence, but certainly not the only evidence the state had. If anything ever gets reversed in this case it will be on some technicality; it won't be for lack of evidence.

It's funny how she begins by saying "he was looking at some pictures I brought for him" but as she goes into great detail about it she says he couldn't get into his computer at all to look at them because of the virus. She doesn't say he was going to, or he wanted to, but that he 'was' looking at pictures. And if those pics were on her external hard drive that she couldn't access since the previous Christmas, how did she get any pics off it and onto a disc that he was viewing but then couldn't because of a virus? :facepalm:

Part of the problem here I think is that we have no idea what timeframe she is referring to.

The way I read it she's talking about a time when they supposedly had had sex down in his office and sometime during that time period was when he was looking at pics she had brought for him(the way she says it, it sounds to me like the frustration about not being able to view them properly lead to their sex play).

I can only guess(from having done this myself) that they were viewing some pics on her camera and to see those better, as well as view those church and who knows what other pics, that she had probably brought on a memory card(that she would have previously downloaded from her camera to her external to more easily edit, name, save/delete them), he/they wanted to put them on his pc(2-3" screen compared to 20-24" screen) but the virus was preventing them from opening the disk. Also, remember, the penis pics were retrieved from her phone(the one that had gotten "lost" for two years) so quite possibly, even probably, she had saved some of herself on her phone too, her selfies on June 2nd? come to mind, as well as the later sex tapes.

That video has always made me squirm! I can't put my finger exactly on what is so disturbing to me about it, but the way she is squirming all over his lap and flipping her hair - blech! What adult does this is public? This is junior high dance behavior.
